Beltane 2010 is upon us.  Beltane is one of Wicca’s two most important Sabbats, celebrating the power of life and growth, as Samhain, six months later, honors the powers of death and decline.  Beltane is fast approaching and in my opinion is perhaps the best Sabbat of all to celebrate in the company of lots of others.  Depending on the time of day and the place it is being held it can include a May Pole, Morris dancers<\/a>, Obby Hoss<\/a>, bonfires, and much more.    I’ll be at a May Eve celebration, then up early to watch the Morris Dancers dance up the sun, followed by still more festivities over the weekend.  <\/p>\n
