Finding love<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Years ago when I first began my spiritual explorations some one suggested I make a prayer box. I found it a very powerful practice. Since then I have made angel boxes<\/a>, abundance boxes<\/a> and now a love box.<\/p>\n

Symbolism is a very powerful tool and a wonderful way to connect with your spirit, angels and God for that matter. At a profound level it allows us to let go of our limiting beliefs and see life in a more expansive way. It also helps us to connect with the larger whole of the universe.<\/p>\n

Making a love box<\/h3>\n

1. Collect a bunch of pictures that symbolize love, an angel or two, a small box with a lid, scissors, and some glue.<\/p>\n

2. Lay things out, perhaps light a candle, play some sacred music, set your intent and say a prayer. You might say something like this:<\/p>\n

Angels, guides, god, goddess, all there is please guide me and direct me. Please surround me with love and help me create a sacred doorway to the love and magic the universe holds. Help me consecrate this box as a place of power, a place to hold my prayers, to hold my hopes, my dreams, my desires. Help me see this box as a place to manifest only love. Guide my hands and help me make it so.<\/em><\/p>\n

3. Spend some time decorating the box with the pictures. Affix any affirmations that speak to you and seem appropriate. Allow yourself to enjoy the process and put your heart and your soul into the process.<\/p>\n

4. When you are finished celebrate your creation!<\/p>\n

5. Each time you want to create more love, feel unloved or just want to connect with the limitless nature of love write a letter and put it into the box. It can be a request, a prayer or an affirmation. As you place the letter in the box say a prayer of surrender and release. It can be as simply as, \u201cI commend this to your care and to the keeping of divine mother. I surrender all thoughts and actions to your divine guidance. May this or something better come into my life now.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n

Only the love is real <\/strong><\/h3>\n

<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Place your box in a place of honor to remind yourself that the only thing that is real is love, everything else is an illusion created by our filter system, by the mistaken belief that we are separate from each other, from everything in the world and most importantly from God.<\/p>\n
