Have you had one of those ah-ha moments lately? I did watching a talking head on MSNBC the other day. I never watch, let me correct that I seldom watch commentaries from talking heads on TV but this one caught my ear. I had just had one of those white hot angelic moments, after feeling really stressed I listened to my little voice that said meditate and I did for almost an hour. I felt great, full of love, relaxed and connected.<\/p>\n

I had been hearing all the controversy over the mosque at Ground Zero and to be honest hadn’t really thought much about it. I noticed it and moved on. I must admit I have a judgment about judgment and as much as possible I ask myself, “How can I see this through the eyes of the angels?” I hadn’t with this issue but then I did. <\/p>\n


\nWhat do you suppose angels would say about all the judgment and hoopla over a place of worship? How does prejudice and hatred honor the memory of anyone’s son? How is it a victory lap for Muslims and a poke in the eye for the US? I just don’t get it nor do I want to. My mission in life has been to see life through the eyes of love and release my judgmental, limited version of life.<\/p>\n

When 9\/11 happened I wrote a letter to the editor, my first I might add. I suggested that we pray for the terrorists who were so emotionally wounded that they thought killing people was the answer. Any time judgment and fear, hatred and violence are the answer people are profoundly disconnected from their spirit. When we open our hearts and allow love and compassion to guide our choices life is often filled with magic and miracles.<\/p>\n

When I am in the Middle East I love the sound of the call to prayers as it echos through the streets. I love listening to people singing hymns or chanting or laughing and praying in any form. My white hot angelic moment was to pray and meditate more, to love more and judge less and to see the perfection in all things, even people’s crazy need to judge and prove their version of reality is right.<\/p>\n
