\"angel<\/a>Faith or fear<\/h3>\n

It really is a simple as that. Do we have faith that we are surrounded by love or shall we listen to our fearful stories. What is it we will choose to believe? And all of our beliefs really are a choice.<\/p>\n

When my dad was getting ready to die I started reading him this story every day. Most of my life he had believed dead was dead and looked at my spiritual pursuits as a sign of weakness. Angels, god and all that stuff were for weak and stupid people.<\/p>\n

The Rainbow Bridge<\/h3>\n

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.<\/p>\n


\nThere are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
\nThere is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
\nAll the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.<\/p>\n

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.<\/p>\n

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.<\/p>\n

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.<\/p>\n

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together….<\/p>\n

My dad asked me if I thought this story was true. He had a dog he particularly loved named Koda. I told him I thought Koda would be there waiting. Over time he changed his belief about death and died very peacefully. He changed his story about death because of his love of a dog. I have no doubt he saw Koda as he passed over.<\/p>\n

What stories in your life could use a rewrite?<\/h3>\n

It is never to late to embrace love and release fear. The most important decision I ever made was to decide that this was a safe universe instead of a hostile one. Whenever you feel fear rising up in your belly choose love instead. Just change the story you are telling yourself and watch your world change too.<\/p>\n
