\"Thumbnail<\/a><\/span>I love the gentle flicker of candle light. Even though I wasn’t raised Catholic I have always loved going into old churches and Cathedrals to light a candle. Often when I want to pray I will light a candle on my altar first. When someone is going through a tough time and they ask me to pray for them I will light a candle as I say my prayer and then allow the candle to burn out on its own.<\/p>\n

Angels are often pictured with a gentle candle like glow around them.  When I think of their loving touch in my life I certainly think of the warmth of candles. I find lighting a candle a wonderfu lway to call upon the angels.<\/p>\n

Often in the Hispanic section of the grocery store they will sell candles in glass jars with a picture of a guardian angel on them. Perhaps find a special candle, say a prayer and invite the angels to bathe you with their love. Allow the light from the candle to symbolize their love and spend a few minutes filling your heart and your mind with that light.<\/p>\n
