Alas, it\u2019s our last day of 40 days to love. Since it is a fearless Friday I thought I would talk a bit about prayer and then share a heartfelt prayer of love.<\/p>\n

Prayer, especially when it is accompanied by a connection to our spirit is a powerful transformational tool. Years ago one of my spiritual mentors told me prayer was a time to talk with God and meditation was our time to listen. When I take a few deep breaths and connect with the divine before entering into prayer I already know all is \u2018right\u2019 in the world. I feel the peace and joy of God surround me and fill me with love.<\/p>\n

Angels are God\u2019s messengers are always whispering in our ear. The whisper about the love, magic and miracles that surround us. Their wings rustle softly leading us toward greater joy and toward personal freedom.<\/p>\n

This is Good Friday. I remember going to church as a young girl and I had so many questions about faith and whys and wherefores. I never found the answers until I found a way to connect, physically feel the presence of the divine in my life.<\/p>\n

These two prayers helped my find that connection. Read them slowly, really feel each word and open your heart. See where it takes you.<\/p>\n

Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi<\/h5>\n

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
\nWhere there is hatred, let me sow love;
\nwhere there is injury,pardon;
\nwhere there is doubt, faith;
\nwhere there is despair, hope;
\nwhere there is darkness, light;
\nand where there is sadness, joy.
\nO Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
\nto be consoled as to console;
\nto be understood as to understand;
\nto be loved as to love.
\nFor it is in giving that we receive;
\nit is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
\nand it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

My heartfelt prayer<\/h3>\n

When I began my journey I was filled with fear, sadness and doubt. I went to the beach, opened my heart and repeated this prayer. When I finally surrendered I was filled with God\u2019s presence and my life has continued to deepen and expand ever since.<\/p>\n

God, goddess, Great Spirit, all there is \u2013 whatever your name help me to open my heart and feel your loving presence. Help me let go of all my fear, doubts and judgments. Help me to see life through your eyes. Love me, help me to feel your loving presence. Help me to know you and know love. <\/em><\/p>\n

Then for good measure I repeated this prayer my mentor gave me from a recovery program:<\/p>\n

God, I offer myself to Thee- To build with me and to do with me as Thou wilt.
\nRelieve me of the bondage of self, that I may better do Thy will.
\nTake away my difficulties, that victory over them may bear witness to those I would help of
\nThy Power, Thy Love, and Thy Way of life. May I do Thy will always!<\/em><\/p>\n

An invitation<\/h3>\n

When we pray and meditate on a regular basis we can hear the gentle whispers of our spirit, of God and of the angels. I invite you to spend the next 40 days connecting with the angelic realms. I hope you join me on that journey, invite your friends and family to join us as we spend the next 40 days calling the angels into our home and into our lives.<\/p>\n

Monday we will prepare the way and then Tuesday we will do a ceremony to call the angels into your home. Then we will spend the next 38 days embracing the magic, listening to their loving guidance and deepening our connection to the angelic realms. Have a blessed weekend and for those of you who celebrate Easter \u2013 Happy Easter.<\/p>\n
