I had the pleasure of seeing this beautiful man live a few years back and will always remember the compassion and grace that I felt being in his presence. While I am not a Buddhist, I love many aspects of the religion. Many religious icons transcend their religions and reach the world through their heart. The Dalai Lama is one of those special beings. \u00a0I was thankful for the opportunity to see him and \u00a0hear him speak. Here is a beautiful quote quote on being thankful.<\/p>\n

In Canada we just celebrated our thanksgiving. It is a time of giving thanks for a bountiful harvest, share with family, preparing for winter. This year was the first time I ever remember it snowing in October. While it is too early to scrap ice lol, I am always ready to be thankful. I am thankful to have my son visit and bring his childhood friend along. I am thankful for all the beings in my life and for being here now.<\/p>\n
