A Labyrinth is a one path in, one path out,\u00a0 unicursal path.\u00a0\u00a0The only decision needed is when to enter.\u00a0 Once that first step is taken, the path takes you to the centre and back out again. This simplistic design is the first hint of the labyrinth\u2019s true power. It is a right brain activity. It has become a metaphor for life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/395\/2018\/08\/labyrinth.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1352 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/395\/2018\/08\/labyrinth.jpg\" alt=\"labyrinth\" width=\"604\" height=\"453\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It is\u00a0an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. It combines the imagery of the circle and the spiral into a meandering but purposeful path. It represents a journey to our own centre and back again out into the world. Labyrinths have long been used as meditation and prayer tools. Walking the labyrinth can be considered an initiation in which one awakens the knowledge encoded within their DNA.<\/p>\n<p>Each time you walk the labyrinth may be for a different reason. Before you begin, set your intention or say a prayer stating the purpose you would like to achieve. One of the best ways to walk a labyrinth is to sent your intention to release what no longer serves you.<\/p>\n<p>You may be seeking:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Balance or centering<\/li>\n<li>Releasing what no longer serves you or your growth<\/li>\n<li>Healing<\/li>\n<li>Connection\u00a0with your higher self<\/li>\n<li>Opening awareness<\/li>\n<li>Experiencing the energies<\/li>\n<li>Letting go of unwanted thoughts and feelings<\/li>\n<li>Releasing the past<\/li>\n<li>Releasing worry or anxiety<\/li>\n<li>Release an attachment to an outcome<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Set your intention and walk to the centre, palms facing down to release what no longer serves you or your growth.<\/p>\n<p>Once you reach the centre of the labyrinth you can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relax<\/li>\n<li>Meditate<\/li>\n<li>Seek answers to questions<\/li>\n<li>Seek clarity and understanding<\/li>\n<li>Set your intention on what you would like to bring in to your life<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As you walk out of the centre, place your palms upward, towards the heavens, to receive all the wonders, abundance and intentions you have placed within this sacred circle.<\/p>\n<p>Offer your gratitude and enjoy the new energy you have created by walking this sacred path.
