The Boy Who Met Jesus: Segatashya of Kibeho<\/big><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>Review: <\/big><\/strong>Segatashya was a young boy who had apparitions of Jesus Christ in the remote Rwandan village of Kibeho during the 1980’s. He was one of many children in the same town who were visited by either Jesus Christ or Mary with messages for the townspeople.<\/p>\n

As the story goes, the messages were warnings for Rwanda, for our planet, and for our individual souls.\u00a0 But by all accounts, the messages were beautiful, sincere and rang true of the Christian saints they were apparently sourced from.<\/p>\n

It was July 2nd, 1982 that Jesus first appeared to Segatashya who was a poor, illiterate, African peasant boy who was also a pagan. Before Jesus appeared to the teenage boy, he had never been inside a church, and didn’t have any real notion of who Jesus Christ was. The apparitions ended exactly one year later on July 2, 1983.<\/p>\n

The most important message Segatashya shares with us is: “that Jesus urgently desires us to prepare for the afterlife and make sure that our souls are ready to enter heaven”.<\/p>\n

The author grew up listening to Segetashya’s messages on the radio–and the power and authenticity of them were instantly heart opening for her.\u00a0 Thus, she has written several books about these remarkable children and the Christian messages that they have been able to spread.
\nThe book is well written, credible and most important of all, very inspiring.\u00a0 I recommend it to Christians mostly, but also to readers of any faith who are interested in visionaries and the transmission of messages from living to dead, saints to mortals, etc.<\/p>\n

About the Authors<\/h3>\n

Immacul\u00e9e Ilibagiza,<\/strong> the author of Left to Tell,<\/em> Led by Faith,<\/em> and Our Lady of Kibeho<\/em> (with Steve Erwin),<\/em> was born in Rwanda and studied electronic and mechanical engineering at the National University. She lost most of her family during the 1994 genocide. Four years later, she emigrated to the United States and soon began working at the United Nations in New York City. She is now a full-time public speaker and writer. In 2007 she established the Left to Tell Charitable Fund, which helps support Rwandan orphans, and was awarded the Mahatma Gandhi International Award for Reconciliation and Peace.<\/em><\/p>\n
