With 21 million American children who receive free or reduced-cost lunches at public schools, it&#8217;s easy to forget these same children often lack basic food during the summer months. MUST is working to alleviate the need in their area, modeling a practice individuals and communities of people across our nation could use as a model where they live.<\/p>\n<p>When I tell people I write about &#8220;Activist Faith,&#8221; they sometimes ask for an example of the type of efforts I highlight. The work of MUST is a perfect example.
