\"\"<\/a>In the process of encouraging people to live out their faith in everyday life, I often find myself inspired by others in the process. One notable example comes from my friends in the band Union Avenue<\/a>. This crew of college students has repeatedly used their musical talents to help those in a variety of situations to find hope in times of trouble.<\/p>\n

Today, their EP<\/a> is available. In particular, their song “Foot of the Cross”<\/a> proclaims an attitude often lacking in our generation, displaying how sorrow and joy meet for God’s divine purposes at the cross of Jesus Christ. Their message is clear–we may not have it all figured out, but we know Someone who does, One who cares for us in a way best displayed by his act of love on the cross.<\/p>\n

Union Avenue isn’t ending with their EP, either; rather, they are just getting started. Tonight, you can find them sharing the stage with the likes of Casting Crowns<\/a> at the nationally-acclaimed Riverbend<\/a> music festival held on the banks of the Tennessee River in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Again, the message will be the same–it’s the unseen–faith, hope, and love–that makes the greatest difference in this world and for eternity.<\/p>\n
