My<br \/>\nfriend Bruce Ladebu, pastor and founder of Children&#8217;s Rescue Initiative.<br \/>\nHere&#8217;s an amazing picture and story of a recent project of his:<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/activistfaith\/assets_c\/2011\/01\/crm-20749.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/209\/import\/assets_c\/2011\/01\/crm-thumb-310x232-20749.jpg\" alt=\"crm.jpg\" class=\"mt-image-center\" style=\"text-align: center;margin: 0pt auto 20px\" width=\"310\" height=\"232\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Investigating slavery<br \/>\nat a brick plant, Bruce Ladebu saw two<br \/>\ngirls laboring under brutal<br \/>\nconditions. He made arrangements to free<br \/>\nthe girls, who also had three brothers, a<br \/>\nmother and father. In the last<br \/>\nweek of June, this family was freed from<br \/>\ntheir tortuous life as slaves.<span>&nbsp; <\/span>After freeing this family, our team in this<br \/>\nAsian country found that the two younger<br \/>\nboys had been taken to a hospital<br \/>\nweeks before and they were operated on<br \/>\nto remove one of their kidneys<br \/>\neach. They were told that the operation<br \/>\nwas to put medicine inside of them.<span>&nbsp; <\/span>This is becoming a common practice with<br \/>\nthe children: to harvest their organs.<br \/>\nThe girls would have been sold to men<br \/>\nfor sex sometime in the near<br \/>\nfuture.
