My prediction is that when this posts on Sunday, the world did not end. If it did, I will not be reading or responding to comments, tweets, Facebook, email, text messages, or any other forms of communication. If not, feel free to sound off about what you did to celebrate the so-called end of the world yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>More seriously, Christians can speak out against those who claim certain dates for Christ&#8217;s return, but we must still look forward to Christ&#8217;s any moment return. Jesus did say he was coming back for us (John 14:1-3). He just didn&#8217;t say when.<\/p>\n<p>The goal was for us to live every day to its fullest. Instead of predicting the end of the world, the challenge is for us to come to faith in Jesus and live like it.<\/p>\n<p>So maybe the all of media hype about May 21 being the end could do us all some good. It&#8217;s a visual reminder to all of us that Jesus does still have a plan to come for us.
