For many, it is a day to sleep in and recover from the festivities of the New Year. For millions of others, however, Sunday is more than a day of rest; Sunday is a day of worship. <\/p>\n<p>Christians worship on Sundays to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. He did not come back as a zombie or ghost, but as in a physical body that bore the scars of his crucifixion. Those who saw him worshiped him. Even doubting Thomas responded, &#8220;My Lord and My God!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Let me encourage those who claim the name &#8220;Christian&#8221; to begin your new year on the right note. Worship Christ! Those of us who know him will worship him for eternity.
