Recently, founder Joni Eareckson Tada<\/a> recieved the incredible honor of winning the Christian Retailers Choice Award in the Social Issues category. The details are below. Christian retailers across the country have chosen the winning products in the 11th annual Retailers Choice Awards, sponsored by Christian Retailing<\/em> magazine. Among a record 350-plus nominations in 39 categories, 41 winners were voted as best of the year \u2013 we are thrilled that Life in the Balance<\/a><\/strong>, <\/em>written by Joni and Friends, won best book for 2011 in the Social Issues category!\u00a0Many congratulations to our Joni and Friends\u2019 Christian Institute on Disability<\/a> for their hard work in writing both Life in the Balance<\/em> and the accompanying study guide \u2013 to God be the glory!
