I took some time to observe how people show their faith even during the mundane details of the day. Here is what I saw:<\/p>\n<p>-Guests washing dishes.<br \/>-An uncle volunteering to take out the trash.<br \/>-Another uncle offering to collect the ripped wrapping paper into a trash bag (Hopefully to recycle&#8211;we had an entire forest of paper of gift wrap this year!).<br \/>-An aunt fixing an impromptu evening meal for those hungry at the end of the day.<br \/>-My niece praying before our Christmas meal (She&#8217;s so cute!).<br \/>-Hugs and kisses between those who often do not exchange an embrace.<br \/>-Saying &#8220;I love you&#8221; (often).<br \/>-Giving that one personalized gift no one expected that brought tears to someone&#8217;s eyes.<br \/>-Turning off the television to share a conversation with a loved one.<\/p>\n<p>What did you see this Christmas?<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;padding: 0px;line-height: 22px\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;padding: 0px;line-height: 22px\">+++<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin: 0px;padding: 0px\">\n<div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0px;padding: 0px\">\n<div>DILLON<br \/>\nBURROUGHS is an author, activist, and co-founder of Activist Faith.<br \/>\nDillon served in Haiti following the epic 2010 earthquake and has<br \/>\ninvestigated modern slavery in the US and internationally.
