How did it turn into a season of stress, traffic jams, and shopping lists?<\/h3>\n<p>The Advent Conspiracy is a movement. It&#8217;s tens of thousands of Christians around the world throwing the kind of birthday party Jesus loves. It started in 2006 with just four churches. Today there are Advent Conspirators in over 20 countries, celebrating Christmas more deeply and blessing others with safe drinking water, offered in Jesus&#8217; name.<\/p>\n<h3>The conspiracy is based on four simple ideas:<\/h3>\n<h4>Worship Fully.<\/h4>\n<p>Christmas is about Jesus. Full worship isn&#8217;t about more church services. It&#8217;s about everything, everywhere.<\/p>\n<h4>Spend Less.<\/h4>\n<p>Christmas is about turning love into a human, not a thing. Americans spend $400 billion on Christmas&#8211;we think a better party is possible.<\/p>\n<h4>Give More.<\/h4>\n<p>Christmas is about God giving himself away to the people he loves. Why don&#8217;t we do the same?<\/p>\n<h4>Love All.<\/h4>\n<p>Christmas is about love without borders or boundaries. We&#8217;re here to help your love be the same.<\/p>\n<p>People give just a little of that money they saved to clean water projects, and the impact is enormous. Hundreds of thousands have received clean drinking water.
