While many realize the need to scale back government funding in many areas, this is one area that cannot be cut back. With thousands of trafficking victims entering our borders each year, we should be morally compelled to stand up and make this a priority.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

We’re in the final days of the International Justice Mission’s campaign<\/span><\/b> to
\nconvince President Obama to increase funding to the state Department’s
\nOffice to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons and to give the TIP
\nOffice a higher profile throughout the State Department and U.S.
\nembassies abroad by among other things promoting its coordinator,
\nAmbassador Louis CdeBaca, to the equivalent of Assistant Secretary of
\nState.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nbefore March 10. We’re looking for 25,000 signatures and we’re nearly
