\nrevolutions grow in the Middle East, it is critical that the United
\nStates promote the freedom of religion as foundational to the formation
\nof strong civil societies. Open Doors USA is asking you to contact your U.S. Representative<\/strong><\/a>
\nto support H.R. 440 which would require the Obama administration to
\nappoint a Special Envoy for religious minorities in the Near East and
\nSouth Central Asia.<\/p>\n

This
\narea of the world has the most countries that actively persecute
\nChristians. By creating a Special Envoy for religious minorities, the
\nObama administration will be appointing an expert on international
\nreligious freedom to directly address religious persecution in this part
\nof the world. Read bill for details>><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Open
\nDoors USA believes that this Special Envoy position will help protect
\nthe human rights of all religious minorities, including Christians in
\nthis area of the world. We hope you will take a moment to send a message<\/a><\/strong>
\nto your U.S. Representative encouraging them to co-sponsor this
\nlegislation and vote “Yes” when the bill is brought up for a vote. There
\nis nothing more powerful than the voice of a constituent to a Member of
