And now that summer is here with its abundance of fresh fruit, there’s no excuse not to start your day on the right note. You can easily and effortlessly whip up one of these homemade, handmade smoothies. Each power packed with fresh ingredients, proven to keep you energized and full for hours!!!
Set your blenders on high, and get ready to get your morning mojo movin’ with these scrumptious and satisfying smoothies!

Oh – and a bonus. I’ve included “Heavenly Chocolate” smoothie for an end of the day treat!!!
Bottoms up!
It’s a Pineapple Morning
1/4 cup low fat milk
1 (8 oz.) carton vanilla low-fat Greek yogurt
1 (8 oz.) can pineapple chunks in juice, un-drained
1 scoop ice
Honey to taste.
Toss in blender! Pour. Drink. Enjoy.
Banana Strawberry Smoothie
1 medium banana, sliced and frozen
1 5-6 oz. Container Greek yogurt, low-fat or no-fat
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
Honey to taste
1 cup 1% or skim milk
Toss in blender! Pour. Drink. Enjoy.
Blueberry Smoothie
1/4 cup orange juice
1/2 cup plain, low-fat or no-fat Greek yogurt
1/2 cup blueberries, washed, stemmed
Honey to taste.
A handful or ice (add more or less, depending on how you like it).
Toss in blender! Pour. Drink. Enjoy.
Heavenly Chocolate
1 cup milk, 2%, 1% or skim
1 banana
1/4 cup chocolate drink mix (or hot coco drink mix; can use low-cal if you like)
1/2 cup vanilla Greek low-fat yogurt
Honey to taste.
Toss in blender! Pour. Drink. Enjoy.
