You CAN use your power to attract all that you need. I do it every day! Read all the posts in my Law of Attraction in Action Series to see how.

I’m very proud to announce that my 12th book is out. It’s called Effortless Entrepreneur: Work Smart, Play Hard, Make Millions (Three Rivers Press). I wrote it with Nick Friedman and Omar Soliman, founders of a national junk removal franchise called College Hunks Hauling Junk. Nick and Omar put great emphasis on partying when they were in college and their fun-loving mentality is still very much alive in this book’s Gen Y perspective on starting a successful business.

Today I’m using them as examples of how creating a solid plan for your vision can attract your dreams.

Nick and Omar began their business not long after graduating from college and turned it into a million-dollar operation in its second year. Effortless Entrepreneur spells out their 10 Commandments of Business and explains how others can follow their steps to building a business. College Hunks Hauling Junk is now franchised across the country. I loved writing this book because Nick and Omar had such great tools for people who want to take control of their lives and start a business. They had no experience, huge bank account or help. But, they recognized a power tool that’s available to all of us–a vision plan and the Law of Attraction.

Nick and Omar created a solid VISION of what they expected and strongly believed in it. They wrote it down in detail. They knew the Law of Attraction would help them realize their vision plan.

In order to achieve what you want, you must see your desire in as many details as possible. Paint a picture of what you want in your mind. Nick and Omar created a vision plan for what they wanted their business to be on paper. Their Fourth Business Commandment is Start with a vision, create a strategic plan, and live by it. They emphasize the need to see, taste, feel, and embrace your vision.

Most people don’t have visions; they have dreams. Nick and Omar say that once you create a plan to take action on your dream, it becomes a vision.

They had a clear picture of the business they wanted to grow into and wrote it down, which enabled it to happen. You don’t have to know every detail of how your vision will come to pass right away. But you should know it will happen and picture how it will look. That can motivate you to take it a step or two further toward implementing the steps to make it happen.

When you really develop a picture of your vision, the Law of Attraction helps bring you what you need.

Omar is more of the visionary. When he declared they’d be a million dollar business in their second year, people laughed. Initially Nick was more practical in his vision. But Omar’s belief was so strong that he convinced everyone to believe too, and they hit one million in their second year. The same thing happened when Omar spelled out his vision for becoming a national franchise. He created a strong vision that people got on board with and it happened.

You have to believe in your vision enough to not let naysayers stop you or alter your thought with doubt that the Law of Attraction can pick up on.

EE cover.JPGNick and Omar’s friends laughed when they began but their vision was focused and strong. They believe that having vision means creating what you want in your mind, then taking actions to make it real and creating a vision plan, in writing. They described where they intended to be by 2013 in as many details as they could imagine and wrote it as if it happened already. It doesn’t matter what part of your vision statement is realized or if it takes longer than the original timeline.

What matters is to have a clear vision of where you’re going.

Nick and Omar credit their visual imagery for everything that’s happened to them. They say, “Our business success, book, media attention, boat, cars, and move to sunny Florida, has all resulted from our thoughts and ideas.” You have the power to control yours! They put their intentions in writing to spell out their vision and held fast to the intention of making it all a reality. Visualize your desire, make a plan of action to get there and believe it will come to fruition. Nick and Omar say, “You’ll never be a success if you don’t believe you already are.” It’s important to have a long-term vision, with increments beginning now.

They visualized their trucks driving around the country as people laughed. But now it’s true and they’re still only in their twenties!

When you focus on your vision, your intentions can manifest it if you think, feel and see it happening. There will be times along the way where you doubt it. Try your best to move past that by reading your vision plan until it grounds you. When your thoughts focus on the joys of getting what you desire, you can override fears and doubts.

Denis Waitley said, “Achievers can almost literally taste success because they imagine their goals in such vivid detail. Setbacks only seem to add spice and favor to the final taste of victory.

Paint the pictures first in your mind. Then write down in detail what you envision happening. Use the present tense. “Money is coming to me from all directions” instead of “Money WILL come to me.” Write your plan as if you’re seeing it happening. When you paint the scenes in your mind and then write them down, you initiate the manifesting process. Get enthusiastic about your plan!

Before you can convince others to believe in the beauty of your dreams, you must convince yourself.

Make yourself believe and when you do, get excited and live in the knowing that you have what you need. The stronger your vision plan, the stronger the support you’ll get from the Law of Attraction. Nick Friedman and Omar Soliman were average young guys who had a vision and wrote it down. A few years later, they have a multi-million dollar franchise. You can use a vision plan to make your dreams your reality too!
