Joel McHale began working in television after graduating from the University of Washington with a Master of Fine Arts degree. He largely landed small roles in shows such as “CSI: Miami” and “Diagnosis: Murder.” In 2004, he began hosting “The Soup” and starred in the show “Community” after 2009. He has since become popular enough that he was given his own talk show on Netflix in early 2018.
