Olivia Newtown John was born in Cambridge, England and raised in Melbourne Australia. Olivia is best known for her role as Sandy in the Blockbuster hit Grease. In 1974, she won a Grammy for Record of the Year for the song “I Honestly Love You.” Later the song “Let Be There”, from her third solo album, landed her the Grammy for Best Country Female Vocal Performance. She’s a breast cancer survivor and participates in fundraisers bringing awareness to the cause. Olivia is a Christian. She released an album in 2007 that contains inspirational songs influenced by many faith traditions. Her passion for health and wellness has inspired her to open a spa and write a cookbook.

Olivian Newton John passed away on Monday August 8, 2022, after a 30-year battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by her loved ones at home in Southern California.
