I Can Eat as Much Fat-Free as I Want
Just because a food is fat-free doesn't mean that it's better for you. A gram of fat equates to nine calories, while a gram of carbohydrate or protein equates to four calories. Fat-free foods can help you lower your calorie intake however depending on the product it doesn't necessarily mean it's low in calories. Sometimes when manufacturers remove the fat from a food product, they sometimes replace it with so much sugar that the fat-free products ends up totaling more calories.
