For instance, lets say you ruminate all day because of a co-worker’s rude remark. Try not to take their comment personally, Kaplin said. “Often when someone is rude or short with you, it’s not about you, and your best bet is to move on with your day.” She suggested addressing what you can change, and relinquishing the rest.
