Keep meaningfully busy. Some depressed people believe they are already too busy, so this may not be for you but chances are your depression is linked to some degree of inactivity. Find something that amuses you, intrigues you, or challenges you. Learn something, whether it’s French or origami or astronomy. Dig up your family tree and embarrass your relatives. Sell jewelry, write a blog, or buy a Martha Stewart book and do every craft or make every recipe in it.
