Incubation dreams have a “to be continued...” status. Not because a part two sequel will be coming, as with recurring dreams, but because it has no immediate application for your life. Genesis 37:2 - 5 says Joseph was a boy of seventeen when he described his first dream. Genesis 41:46 reveals he was thirty when he finally entered the service of Pharaoh. That’s thirteen years of waiting. We see him go from a boy who could not interpret his dreams and save his own neck to a man who interpreted two highly symbolic dreams for a king and saved a whole nation.
"Until the time came to fulfill his dreams, the LORD tested Joseph’s character." - Psalm 105:19 (NLT)
