Emotional authenticity eliminates the ‘good’ and ‘bad’ emotional hierarchy and permits you to feel and express all of your emotions. Were you taught to hold in your emotions and that some emotions are ‘good’ and some are ‘bad’? What is your experience with suppressing or expressing anger, fear, sadness and jealousy? When we begin seeing these emotions as simply (e) energy (motion) in motion, and stop judging them, something magical happens where this act of acceptance and expression naturally neutralizes our emotions. The emotions are diffused because we aren’t bottling them up. Our emotional roller coaster ride smoothes out over time because we refrain from hitting the stop button on them, and because of it, we feel free and more grounded.
