20-Minute Break: Affirm Yourself
Collect your favorite affirmations and then record them on your cell phone, laptop or tablet. After doing so, lie down on your bed, close your eyes and just listen. Do this whenever you can, a few times each week. (Example: “Joy is my destiny” or “Abundance flows easily to me.”) The sound of your own voice gently guiding you to a more peaceful, positive place is a powerful tool for transformation in the long run and welcome reassurance in the moment.
