Whenever you're about to binge, look around, there's usually someone bigger than you nearby to remind you of your priorities. I hate to say it, but given the epidemic obesity crisis in America, and in many parts of the world, there are always people with weight problems most everywhere you go. In America, almost half the population is overweight, and one-third of the nation is considered obese. Almost everywhere you go in America, there’s someone near you with a very serious obesity problem. This is particularly evident in restaurants, cafeterias, or buffets. You don’t have to look hard to find people eating way in excess: ordering three or four course meals with appetizers and dessert, piling plates high, getting seconds or thirds. I find this very upsetting to see, and it’s an ongoing tragedy. When you see someone with a weight problem, try saying a silent prayer for him or her.
