What will motivate you to finally, once-and-for-all lose the weight and get help to solve your problems permanently? Will it be pain or discomfort, or appearance, a shock from the doctor, or a feeling of emptiness and despair? Let’s be really honest and candid, OK? If you can't stand your situation, and you want to be healthier so much that you'll actually do what it takes—consistently eat a little less and in a healthier way, and move your body every day—then perhaps it is a blessing in disguise. Your situation may need to be really horrible. Things may need to be absolutely dreadful and intolerable enough before you'll take the right action over and over again. If you're stuck "on-the-fence," and the excess weight is uncomfortable, but not intolerable, then you're probably not ready. If you "kind of" want to lose the weight, but are unwilling to stop eating so many fat, sugary or harmful foods (I'm not saying eliminate them, I'm saying not eat so many), or not quite willing to be active every day, then you're not ready. However, if you're feeling miserable, and in pain, and can't stand your weight problem, and will do anything in desperation to solve this horrible problem, congratulations! You're truly blessed! Now, perhaps you are ready to change your lifestyle for the better.
