What are some ways I'll know if I'm getting healthier?
Oh, what a great question! And phrased in the most conscious way! You clearly are beginning to understand the real way to health and happiness – it's not just about losing weight. It's about your overall health and quality of life.
There are lots of signals and signs other than getting on a scale: How do you feel? Are your clothes fitting better? How's your level of energy? Are you able to participate in life more than before? Can you manage difficult emotions any easier? How's the quality of your relationships (spouse, family, friends, co-workers)? Is food less important to you? Are you finding new satisfactions in spiritual practice or physical activity?
Most importantly, are you able to let go of problems, excesses and unrealistic expectations and just do what your Creator wants you to do? If you are constantly praying, or meditating on that Great Life Energy (God, Spirit, the Divine) then you will be aligned with your true purpose, and you will be totally healthy.
Keep looking at the whole picture, and you'll see that pounds are only one small part of your whole new life.
