Try a little self-indulgence today. Not with food – but with pleasurable activity!
Do something different and physical. Go horseback riding. Play golf. Fly a kite. Rent a bike and ride it for an hour. Take a sauna, then swim, then take another sauna. Treat yourself to a yoga and meditation session. Jump rope. Play hopscotch with the neighborhood kids. Walk to the mall, instead of driving. Pitch horseshoes. Rake leaves and then jump in them like you did when you were eight.
You’ll energize yourself, broaden your horizons, and eat less, too.
