Today's a new day. Just make an effort to do what you desire--to eat a healthy, rational, normal amount of food and to be active. Here are some ideas:
  • Eat half of what you'd normally eat.
  • At restaurants, immediately ask for half your meal to be packed to take home.
  • Switch foods: club soda or seltzer instead of sodas, no-fat milk or cheese instead of whole, baked chips instead of fried.
  • Have extra helpings of vegetables and fruit, instead of heavy, high calorie/high fat food.
  • Go for a 10 minute walk, at least. Or try a 20 minute stretching party. These ideas are just a start. A good start: slowly and safely!
