Someone asked me the other day if it was OK to eat cheesecake on the "Joy of Weight Loss" plan.
I said: Yes! There’s nothing that's not in the Eating Plan. Everything is OK in moderation. Even cheesecake. (Or chocolate, or popcorn, or fried chicken.)
The only trick is: eat just a little. Only a few bites, or one small piece. Don't eat the whole cake! (Or in the case of other guilty pleasures – just one serving!)
If you need help abstaining from more than that, ask God to show you something else to do, or to give you the power to avoid eating more.
