Here are three important truths for the day:
1) The more effort you put into something, the more it will reward you.
2) To lose weight you need to take in less nutrition than you use.
3) To maintain weight and health, it's vitally important to eat healthy, be active, and realize who you are and why you're here.
Notice what number one is. It starts there.
What if you don’t have the power to do what’s necessary? What if you’ve tried putting all your effort into a diet before, and it rewarded you, but you could not keep it up forever? What if you just don’t have the motivation or energy to eat less and exercise more?
Give up the problem. Take the weight off your shoulders and give it to God. Ask God to help you be mindful of everything you eat. Ask Him to motivate you to get up and get moving every day.
