Did you realize that the Hebrew word, Shalom, means many things? All of its meanings are connected, too. It means peace, and is often used as a greeting: a way of saying hello or goodbye.
It also means to be complete, or whole. When you’re happy, nurtured and satisfied, you’re at peace, a whole person, a whole being.
I love that; to truly greet someone else is to see them as whole or complete, and at peace.
Are you whole and complete, and at peace?
