Are you taking good care of your heart? Have you thought about it? Heart disease is the number one killer in this country. And it doesn't have to be that way. There are simple things you can do to make sure your heart beats for a good, long time. Here are a few ideas: take a daily multi-vitamin that has plenty of B vitamins and vitamin E (at least the daily recommend amount). Take some garlic (in tablet form, or fresh). Have a little bit of aspirin, the "regimen" amount, if your doctor agrees. Be absolutely sure you do your daily activity (a minimum of a 10 minute brisk walk, 30-60 minutes of moderate exercise if you've built up to it). Get a check-up from your doctor if you haven't had one this year. If you're over 40, ask if you need some tests to determine if your arteries are in good shape, and if your heart can handle exercising. And do your best to find the healthiest weight for you. See your doctor and discover the right, most reasonable weight for you.
