A person new to my "Joy of Weight Loss" book told me she's had it for a month and not tried it yet.
I said "What are you waiting for?" She didn't know. Then she said she "felt really guilty for getting it, but not using it." I said, "Oh, please don't feel bad. You already must feel bad with the extra weight. Just do it."
Then I suggested that she schedule a time, every morning, to do it. First thing, after she wakes up, take a few minutes to read the book and do what the program suggests to do that day. Make it a priority. After all, I explained "It's easy, it'll make you feel really good, and you'll solve your weight problem!"
I told her it didn't have to be my plan. There are many wonderful weight loss books around. Just take the time to really take good care of yourself and make an investment in your health.
