Mother and Father of this world,
there are children and adults
who have been abused in word or deed
by their parents.
Hatred and anger may linger in their hearts.
Resentment and fear may control their lives.
The ability to trust may have been destroyed.
Protect and comfort those who have been hurt.
Restore to life those who have been damaged.
Make whole those who have been diminished.
