Prayer Circles

Elizabeth, thank you for posting here and I'm sorry to hear of your own loss of your beloved daughter. I pray that your beautiful granddaughter be allowed to come and live with you, to receive the stability and love that she desperately needs and that you will lovingly give her.
Why do some people who desperately want children don't have them, while those that do ignore them, is something I can't answer. All of it falls under the big question of life "Why?" and we sometimes don't have any answer for it here. But know that God is working a plan in your life and pray for your other daughter, that Our Heavenly Father will also work His plan in her life and trust in Him. In the meantime, I pray that your granddaughter comes to live with you until your daughter comes back walking on her own path. God bless you.

This is a very difficult time of year for me, but i am glad i have found this, my son died of cancer almost 4 yrs ago, may, 7. at only 6 months old. the year before that, I miscarried on mothers day... I still grieve very strongly over the loss of my baby boy, my new life partner doesnt understand, he wasnt my sons father.. so I feel I nolonger have anyone to cry to, or cry with. last yr tho, on may 1 I concieved another child... she was born dec 30, and still i'm not sure of exactly how I feel twards her... and I feel bad for her because of how much i miss my son. I hope as she grows up, she will understand why I cry for him, and doesnt think I love her any less..I like to think my son sent her to me. I remember always wondering what id do if my child died before me, and I thought I "knew" how I would feel... but I was soo wrong. My prayers are with you all.
No matter what beliefs everyone here may follow, I believe our children are happy, and perhaps watching over us now. I think all religions have that general thought behind them, and it is a comforting one, atleast a little.

lilith1671, I'm so happy that you found this Circle and posted your own story and share your grief and sorrow with us. I'm so sorry to hear of your losses of your two babies, especially around and on Mother's Day. Know that your children are happy, and rejoice in your child that you have now.
It is hard when you are with a person who is not the biological father to your two babies that you lost, because he has no idea of what you have gone through and hopefully never will. I hope he's supportive of you though and helps you in your grief. Love this child you have been blessed with, with all your heart, she is a gift and to be treasured. You can explain to her when she's a little older of the siblings that she once had and that's why you cry sometimes, you miss them and love her very much. I/we'll all include you in our prayers here, and no, it does not matter what your belief system is, all are welcome here who have lost a child. Only another mother or parents can relate to what you have been through and how you feel today. Blessings to you,

Shaner, you are a great blessing, you have given many pple hope and comfort, I thank you very much for this. You have no idea how long ive looked online for something like this, i had aol when Keiran died, there were several places there for me to go, then Marty n I went our seperate ways, he got the computor. Now im online again this time w/ no aol.. ive searched n searched, the rooms i have found no one goes to. You are the thing ive been praying for.. May all your prayers be answered, and again thank you soo much.

lility1671, I am very happy and humbled that you were directed to this Circle. But Our Heavenly Father planted the 'seed' in my mind to start this and all praise goes to Him. Please pray for an 8 year old soul and his family who died about a week ago after a year long battle with brain/spinal cancer. He attended my daughters school. God Bless them. In Christ's Name, Amen.

Dear Lord, Please watch over, console, protect, and comfort first, the greiving hearts of the parents, next the friends, relatives and the wider community that the tradegy of the children who transitioned from this life in a school bus accident this morning in Canada affected. Please take care of the parents who lost their children in another school bus accident earlier this week. Also, please comfort your new Angels as they begin their new journey with You. Please let us pray.

Mahano - Thank you for posting here, the parents of that awful school bus tragedy are in all our hearts and prayers, I pray the community rallies around them and that the peace that only Our Heavenly Father can bring be with the parents, relatives, etc. God Bless

I know how you are feeling. You probably hear that everyday but i truly do. I lost a 12 year old child to leaukemia lat year. I still cry even looking into her old room. My prayer and sympathy are with you and GOD bless.

Lord, thank You for all Your blessings. Give comfort, encouragement, peace and love to these and others that have lost a child. Lord bless them with knowing that You created everything and everyone and that you have a plan for such things as death in this world and that You alone can give what is needed to fill the voids. Lord I specifically pray for the families of two special friends, that Hattens and the Richards as Stephen and Ed are in Your kingdom. Lord at such young ages You called them home and I know they are missed here on earth, but are there in Heaven waiting to see me and others when it's time for me to come home. Lord give these parents strenght each day to continue the calling that they have here on earth. Helping others like them and witnessing to them through similar trials and grief. Lord I praise you for the miracle of life and death and how it is in Your plan that we are able to exist. Amen

mymomismyangel - I'm so sorry that you lost a beloved child also. Of course you still grieve for her, it's only been a year and it takes a lot of time, so be gentle with yourself and allow yourself to grieve, no matter what anybody else says! The journey of grief is a long one, but with prayers it will help it feel less painful. I ask my son to pray for me when I'm having a 'bad' day, ask your little daughter to pray for you also. We know they're in a better place, but we ache for their physical presence so much. God bless you and know that others are praying for you!

I nearly lost a friend because her van driver was late for a church service. Her driver sped and the van was hit on the left side, injuring my friend. She was in deep shock over the accident. She is alright now.

The death of a child can be a very traumatic experience in our lives. I
lost my only child three years ago, Cassandra Marie was 11 days old. I felt that all my dreams, all my hopes for the future where shattered and buried along with her. I know God will
give us the strength to continue on, although the pain is always there with God by our side it gets better. I Thank God for his guidance and for the guidance I received from The Compassionate Friends support group, a support group for bereaved parents. My prayers are with all the Families represented here!!! God Bless You All!!!

janie1 - I'm very sorry to hear of your loss of your precious sweet angel. Yes, it's one of the most traumatic experiences that we'll ever have to deal with but deal with it we must, on a day to day level. When you're child dies you are absolutely right, a future goes with him/her. My faith has gotten me this far plus a lot of praying, so keep up your own spiritual work and know that God is with you and feels your pain also. I would suggest to any parent that has lost a child to reach out to any organization that helps you to deal with your loss. It helped me also. God bless and know you're also in my prayers.

Well, I have 3 angels in heaven now. On February 16, my sister age 48 and her granddaughter age 5 were killed, in a car accident. I was very close to her granddaughter Leioloni. She was the sweetest little girl. My sister and I were very close. We always confided in each other. Then March 13 my Dad age 69 joined them in heaven due to liver failure. I had not experienced death before, and losing all three almost killed me, both physically and spiritually. But I just pray everyday, and I just found this web site, and I feel the same grief and will keep others in prayer also.

Heavenly Father I pray that you may blessShaner and Cindyms500 and their families, along with all those families that have lost a loved one. Only you, Lord know why our Angels where taken from us, we ask that you give us the faith and strength to carry on this grief and that one day we will be reunited with them.

Shaner-- Thank you so much. I was happy to get a message from you. And yes you are right Prayer helps, I at first lost all my faith. I had prayed so much to have a child, and he answered me a gave me a beautiful daughter, then she was taken away. I felt betrayed and sorry to say was mad at God. How could he do this to me? Why me? Why my baby? weel, I still don't have the answers but now have the faith that one day I will find the answers. With prayers from family, friends and myself I am at peace now, of course still grieving but more at peace. I trust that God is with me and that He knows why everything happens, He knows our destiny. cindyms500 - Yes, you certainly do have your angels in Heaven watching over you and shining on you now! But I am very sorry to hear of your losses, all so close, God bless you. You will definitely miss them, but take solace in the fact that they're just beyond the door, not very far from us and remember, love never dies, so keep your faith and you are remembered in prayers here also.

You are so welcome, but all praise goes to Our Heavenly Father who planted the 'seed' in me to start this circle after losing our son. I know what you mean about your loss, being angry at God is a perfectly natural response and He understands! He patiently awaits us to come to Him for comfort and that is what I did and you did also. The only thing that has helped me with my grief is to pray, lay my grief on Our Heavenly Father and of course starting this wonderful circle. I believe strongly in the power of prayer! God bless you!

Sandy---I also belief in the power of prayer, Our almighty Heavenly Father has given me many reasons to storngly believe. I am sure it was hard at first to start this circle but,I also realize that as you say He planted the seed and also watered it through YOU, so that not only does it help you but also that others like myself may find peace and love with others who unfortunately have gone through the same steps as we have.
