Prayer Circles

Hi Selva, it's so nice to see you posting again! It's so comforting to know that you're praying for all of us, and you know we're praying for you, Praise be to God for all the wonderful moms who lift us up in prayer! Our Lord has truly blessed this Circle with so many loving, caring moms. I know sweetie, all these holidays, special days bring our hearts and minds centered on our child, but you're right, she has the most beautiful costume that anyone could ever want now, and she is your Angel, always watching over you and your family. She loves you very much, and I know she hears your prayers for her. And so does Our Lord, He loves you so much, and will stay right by your side as you go through the rough times. Lean heavily on Him, He brought me through the first two years and continues to do so, I don't know what I would have done without Him! May God continue to bless you and give you the necessary spiritual and physical strength that you need, and our love and prayers are with you,

DEAR FATHER,
TODAY I PRAY THAT ALL THE MOMS HERE WILL KNOW WHEN THEY FOUND SOMETHING INSIDE OF THEM THAT THEY DIDN'T KNOW THEY HAD, THAT WHICH DOES NOT KILL THEM BUT MAKES THEM STRONGER.FOR TRAGEDY, WE THINK, WILL KILL US. THEN AS WE STRUGGLE TO KEEP OURSELVES GOING AND TO MEET THE CHALLENGE, WE LEARN SOMETHING ABOUT OURSELVES. FATHER I PRAY THAT WE FIND A RESERVOIR OF STRENGHT THAT IS UNTAPPED AND I PRAY THAT WE ARE SURPISED BY OUR OWN ABILITY TO GET UP AGAIN AND AGAIN AND STRUGGLE AGAINST THE FLOW OF GREAT SADNESS. I PRAY THAT WE MAY FIND OURSELVES HELPING OTHERS WHO GRIEVE, WITHOUT RELIZING WE HAD SUCH CAPABILITIES. WE THOUGHT WE WERE TO FAR DOWN AND TOO CAPACITATED TO TRY AND ASSIST ANYONE. HI SHANER,YVONNE,SANDY, AND BARB,
THINGS ARE GOING OK AND I'M STILL REAL BUSY WITH SCHOOL AND WORK. I MIGHT BE SWITCHING SCHOOL AND WORK AT A SCHOOL THAT HAS A SPECIAL PROGRAM FOR AUTISUM. I ENJOY WORKING WITH SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN. I WILL BE TAKEN ACOUPLE OF DAYS OFF NEXT WEEK FOR I HAVE TO MEET WITH THE LAWYER AGAIN AND I'VE BEEN HAVING SOME VALLEY DAYS AND I THINK I NEED SOME TIME FOR MYSELF AGAIN. WE ARE PLANNING TO GO TO SOUTH CAROLINA FOR THANKSGIVING AND I KNOW THAT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE WAY I HAVE BEEN FEELING. I HAVE BEEN READING MY BOOK (A TIME TO GRIEVE BY CAROL STAUDACHER) AND IT HAS HELPED ME ALOT. READING CAN'T ALWAYS TAKE SOME OF THE PAIN AWAY I KNOW BUT IT DOES HELP.

Hello Shaner, I was really happy to see that all of you had visited the site. All of you are lifted up, nightly in my home. It's just good to have friends like all of you, sharing the same feelings and concerns with one another. As the holidays role around, we need each of your (our) prayers for one another.

Prayer: Again Father I come into your presence with thanksgiving and giving you all praise and glory to you God. You are so worthy of the praise and glory. Father I lift up my family and friends to you on this site, and God I ask your blessings be upon them and there families from day to day, minute to minute, God cover us with your precious blood. God you are an awesome God, Wonderful Counselor, All seeing all knowing. Lord you are our everything, and we Love you Lord for what you've already done and thanking you in advance for what you are about to do in us. Thank you Father. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Hello Everyone, ~ I pray that God will give each of you those precious moments of peace for which we all pray. Today, I am sharing a poem I wrote at some point during my grief journey. I've shared it before, but did a little editing, and felt led to share it with the newly bereaved moms. I pray that blesses each and every bereaved Mom who reads it.
LOVE2U ALL

You Are Not Alone

God always knows how much we are hurting
Never doubt how much He cares
The thing we must try to remember is
God hears our heartfelt prayers!

He forgives us when we're angry with Him
He wipes our tears away
He knows that we don't understand
There will be a brighter day!

We can't see the total picture
As we are traveling through this land
And even though our hearts are shattered
For each of us God has a plan.

Life here on Earth is but a moment
We see death as being the end
God knows it is just the beginning
For our children, our loved ones, our friends!

And like them when we too have finished
All that God has sent us to do
We'll rejoice with all of our loved ones forever
In a world that to us will be new!

Until then let's encourage each other
That's what God would have us to do
In times of great sorrow He's been there for me ...
And I know He'll be there for you!

I know how much you love working with the special needs children, and I think that's wonderful that you may be working with autistic children! Yes, double the post, double the blessing! I'm sorry to hear that you're having some valley days, but they too will pass, and once again you'll lift yourself back up and continue on your journey. Oh, I loved that book by Carol Staudacher, and I'm happy that it's helping you out, no, it can't erase all the pain, but it does give us hope, and understanding. She also has a column here at Beliefnet, if you ever want to read it. I pray that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving in S. Carolina, and Michael will be there in spirit with you all! These holidays, etc., are all so hard on us all, but somehow we manage to get through them, with the help of Our Lord. Yes, isn't Verna's poem so inspirational, it speaks right to our hearts! Hello mzjan64, it's so nice to see you posting again too! We all thank you so much for lifting us up in prayer nightly, and you know that our prayers are with you! I'm happy that you feel comfortable at this Circle, as I've said before, it's a safe place to talk about how you're feeling, and just knowing that others are going through the same thing helps us on our Journey. Hi to all of you who share this prayer circle, I read this today and wanted to share it with all of you.
I'M FREE
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free to follow the path God made for me.
I took His hand when I heard Hin Call. I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day to love, to laugh, to work and play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, for I found peace at least that day.
If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembering joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, oh yes these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with heart of sorrow. My wish for you is the hope of tommorrow.
My life's been full, I've savored much, good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps time seemed to brief. Don't lenghten it now with undue grief. Lift up your herat and share with me. God wants me now.....He's set me free.
Please pray for me as I do for all you mothers, I lost my 20 year old Solange , Aug 15, 2002, its too soon and my pain just keeps getting stronger, I keep asking God to help us all. Love Selva

My prayers go out to all of you, be with God and he will help you through it. I know, he has helped me. He is in my life more now than ever,I want to touch his hand and feel his embrace as he comforts me.I pray for the same for you. I lost my youngest son--on Jan 15,03 it will be 4 years.He was killed in an accident at age 26. I have adopted and am raising his 6yr old daughter/my grandaughter.She was truly a special gift to him at 1lb10oz, and is now so special to me.She is him all over again, I see him in her everyday, and I thank God for it. May God watch over all of you, and may Angel feathers fall in your path.An Angelfollower here, she is beside me always.

Hi Selva, that's a beautiful poem, thanks for sharing it with all of us. I know you're in a lot of pain now, sweetie, but you've just lost your precious daughter, so give yourself lots of time, there's no timetable for grieving, and when it's your child, it takes longer. Solange is still with you, and watches over her beloved mom with the love that you and she share. Every mother at this Circle knows how you're feeling, I remember all too well the intense pain I experienced in that first year. Hold on tight to your wonderful memories of your Solange, and our love and prayers are always with you, may Our Lord grant you some peace today, and wrap you in His loving arms, love and prayers to you, and post here whenever you want, we're always here for each other,

Yes, if it wasn't for Our Heavenly Father, I never would have made it this far, God is so good to grieving moms, as I've said before! That's so wonderful that you have his sweet little daughter, your granddaughter, to raise, she must bring a lot of joy into your life! You have a part of him, a lasting legacy of him in your granddaughter, and that's so special! Thank you for your prayers for all here, and I hope you find an Angel feather in your path today! Thank you Shaner, God gave me a wonderful gift I know, but I want you to know he brought me to you, and that poem was for you also, he told me to put it there, I'm publishing my own book soon, hope by early spring, or first of summer,it will be my first, just to let you know, when I was seventeen, Our Heavenly Father brought me the most wonderful sight, I have never forgotten, A beautiful angel, and she spoke to me, I was very sick at the time and almost died, she shows, when I need her now, and helps me cure the human heart, I believe we are all blested with a gift we must share, may your heart today hold the flame of the eternal Father, lots of love to you,

dear father,
today i ask for your prayers to help all of these parents who have lost a child or children and i pray that they will find some comfort and pease in thier journy and please i ask for guidence and strenght as these weeks ahead may be very painfull for some of us, father i know how tricky it can be to help some one in this world, god i ask you to gently guide us as we guide them to help to make their choices into what is safe and ok to follow and what is not. i ask for your prayers for we have some hectic days ahead, this i ask in your name the father, amen.
