Father,
I ask that You be with this family in their time of grief. I ask that You touch their lives in the way only You can.
Father, I know that You are always with us; wanting us to turn our faces to Your Light. I bless You that You are always with those fighting the disease of addiction, and that You recognize them as Your children and worthy of Your Love, even when they don't love themselves.
I pray for every heart that is breaking because of addiction in the family - including my own. I ask that You would touch and heal those who suffer from this affliction; and that You would lead each of us to our way of doing Your work in assisting Your children in the fight against addictions.
Thank You that You always hear our prayers, and are with us in every trial.

All addictions must bow at the Name of Jesus--the Name above all names, and addictions must flee! Thank You for Your delivering power. Remind her that she can do ALL things through Christ which strengthens her. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

~FOR ALL WHO SUFFER FROM ADDICTIONS~My prayer is for all who are suffering from addictions to be completely delivered. And for those who have overcome their addictions--for them to not have any relapses. May any and all negative influences be removed. May all bondages be broken in Jesus' Name. Me and my husband have been battling addiction for about 10 years now. Our addictions both began when my mother in law was murdered. We both realized our addiction about 3 years ago, and it has been harder and harder ever since. About that time we were both baptized at our church that we went to and asked for help. I thought after being baptized a miracle would happen and all our problems would just disappear I guess. Boy, the last three years have been extremely stressful!!! My husband relapsed here about a month ago and was on probation. Therefore he was revoked and was just sent to do a five year sentence. Now I've lost my job, I have 20 days to move, no car(he totaled our car), and we have two children. Everytime I think that it can get no worse it seems that the earth falls from beneath my feet. So many times I have wondered if I should just walk away, but for whatever reason God has kept my family together. I often hear God will never give you more than you can handle, but sometimes I do have to question that. I know he has alot more faith in me than I have in myself if this is true! Please pray for my family and the so many other families that are out here suffering from what I believe is the evil of all evils and what may very well be the war of all wars. The addiction of drugs. I used to think that people were only weak. Now I have been living through the addiction myself and I see that it is a very sad, disasterous, and controlling addiction, disease, sadness, and more times than not it is an endless battle. I pray in Jesus name that my family and that other families can bond together and overcome this evil. And that we will be strong enough to give our testimonies and hopefully help other families or even prevent them from the pain that we feel EVERY SINGLE DAY. Not to mention the pain that our loved ones and our loving children feel and withstand. If you have this same addiction and dont know what to ask Jesus for, he knows what is in your heart. Don't be ashamed to talk to Jesus either because of what you have done. That is only the devil telling you that and trying to make you believe that, he doesn't want to lose you and he knows that your God is so much bigger than he is!!!!

~STROHM_ANGEL~In response to what you wrote on 1/6/06: I set my faith in agreement with yours for Satan to take his hands off of you and your husband. I don't battle addiction with drugs, but I have a brother who does. And I know that it affects the ENTIRE family, not just those who are doing drugs. I pray that the temptations and feelings of condemnation will be broken off of you and your husband right now in the mighty Name of Jesus. Drug addiction is only a "name", and Jesus' Name is above ALL names. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen. The reason why so many things are coming at you all at once, is because the devil has peeked into your future. He doesn't want you to get the blessings that God has predestined for you and your husband. So, he is coming at you with everything that he's got. The bigger the battle--the bigger the blessings. God's grace is sufficient for you for this day. That's why Jesus said to not be concerned about tomorrow. He didn't give you enough grace for today and tomorrow--His grace is only sufficient for today. So, keep your mind on God, and He will give you perfect peace. May NO weapon formed against you prosper. I pray that you will get reliable transportation as soon as possible. I pray that doors that would normally be shut to you, will open. May God show you favor. May the miracles, blessings and breakthroughs that you have been praying for be manifested in your life. So, go ahead and give God all of the glory, honor and praise right now--don't wait until after He brings you out. Praise Him now--for He is worthy to be praised! Hallelujah!

Imbookerossie, Thank you so much for your prayers. I praise the Lord daily, whether it is a good day or a bad day for me. Thank you for giving me an insight also as to why the battle has been so huge. I know that God has a plan for me and my family. I also know that the road may seem dark to me many times but God knows exactly where I am going. I give him all control! Me trying to be in control has only gotten me where I am! I am blessed everyday just to wake up and take a breath, cause I know that as long as I have the breath of life in me that hope is not lost! PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!

I have a 19 year old daughter who has been on everything. I just recently got had her in rehab. If anyone would like to contact me, feel free.
It's tuff to go through this, and the signs are always there. we think they are not, but when you relize what they are, they were there all along. I have to pray everyday that she will be ok. Cause it's not over, she will always be tempted. There is so much evil in the world, but also alot of good. We just have to find it. The thing I have found, is love your kids no matter what, and be there for them. And, NO EVERYTHING they do, where, who, what, when, how. That is the only way. Look for apparence changes, mood swings, temper flars, funny smells, different friends, not looking you in the eyes.
Read and research all the drug facts, and there is help out there. Even when they get over 18, trust me. Its hard, but you can make it.

Help my son Jason Ryan, who is serving his sentence at this time. Keep him in the palm of your hand. Heal his heart/Soul/Mind. Whisper into his ear your voice of promise, your voice to the right path. Keep your angels all around Jason.

Lord, heal my son Joel - his knee needs to heal. His dream his to go to Ft. LW to drill school. Lord, let my son's dream come true. Keep him out of Iraq. We have already done one tour - I don't think I can handle another one. His family needs him - please send him to drill school.
Emma - heal her confused little mind/heart. Keep her happy - let Tara go away. Bring Shannon/Emma together as mother/daughter. Let the adoption begin. Help us Lord, to let you into our hearts everyday, every minute.
Help my David to succeed w/properties, vehicles. Help us to find the right home for us, soon. Let our love for one another grow & grow. Let him trust me - let him show it.

Please pray my son Rick will be healed from addiction and bi-polar disorder. He is just beginning treatment and needs all the prayers he can get to make it. He has a 3yo daughter living with an unstable mother and other unsafe people. Help him heal fast so he can take care of her. Give us the wisdom to know if we shpould pursue custody as grandparents or wait for them to get it together, Pray she will be enveloped with safety and right will be done. Also pray for our peace of my... freedom from worry over them both.

Therefore, Bi-polar must bow and flee at the Name of Jesus. Jesus died and bore all sickness and disease on the Cross so that he wouldn't have to. I claim, decree and declare healing for Rick right now, Lord. Satan, I command you to take your hands off of Rick. You do not have control over him. I bind you, Satan, and all of your attacks that you've placed against him. I loose healing, deliverance, peace and blessings in his life by the authority of Jesus' mighty Name. I also pray that You will give Your child wisdom, as to whether she should take custody (or even temporary custody) of her grandchild until her son gets better. Show her what to do, Lord. Please pray for Tommy that he may rest and peace now that he is with God. My friend Trvor nearly died of a drug overdose Wenesday night. Please pray for Tommy and all those drug addicts who are close to death. Amy God watch over them and protect them. Amen

Heavenly Father, I pray for your healing, your protection, your guidance. I pray that you will embrace my fiance with all your might and love so that he will come to know you & be calmed by your presence in his life. Right now, he has a bad addiction to video games that is getting progressively worse... If it is not videogames, it is something else... as if he is trying to consume himself with something that will get him away from th world for a little while. My prayer is that you would reach deep within him, and pull him out of his addictions, and toward your everlasting love... For yours is the only love that will fill his void. Please let him realize this & seek your heavenly ways, Lord. I pray that he would glorify you and walk the walk that you have laid out for us to follow. I am so thankful for everyting you've blessed us with.... His addiction has affected his work, school, his health & our relationship, as he pushes everything else further away from reality. Please bless him & deliver him from all of his inner struggles. He needs you, Lord. Please stay by my side & keep me strong through this emotional struggle. I know that you will see us through. Lord, please deliver myself and my husband from the overpowering compulsion to continue to use illegal and prescription drugs to help us "cope" with life. We know this is not the way and not the example we want to set for our child. Please be with each and every addict out there and give them the strength to get through one more day without using.

Desi, was on Home Detention and left home for 5-days she also thinks we (family) doesn't care about her because we don't agree with what's going on in her life. This young man supplies Desi with drugs and needless to say Desi is going to be picked up for violating her Home Detention and most likely will be sent to a Program for Girls. This is going to be hard for all of us to deal with but, with God in our life and each of your Prayers will be able to make it,so please keep Desi 7 Family in your Prayers!!!! West Pensacola
