ALL WHO READ - PLEASE PRAY FOR MY SON:

Lord,in Heaven, send Jason on to finish his time. He is ready to go; Please keep him safe; send him home soon. Let this time go fast; Let this time heal him in mind and spirit. Send the right people to help him; to feel good about himself; to make the right choices in his life. We all have come so far, keep us on the right road; keep this family close/loving/through our faith in you. Lord send your light into Jason's soul for all time. Let him go on to heal. I do ask that you help me in one thing. Lord, keep him close to home, so I can visit. In Jesus name, Amen.

My prayers to Tommy's family and all here who are or have family members suffering from addiction. I lost my dear brother when he was only 31 (with a family of a wife and 3 young children) to a drug overdose August 6, 1991. I am now battling alcoholism myself (a little over 2 weeks sober THIS time). I am also a psychic/"sensitive". I wanted to relay the message that I hear Tommy today saying "Tell my family I am fine, and I am still with them. I love them and I'm well and happy now. Tell my Mom how much I am with her and I love her so much. I'm still right there with you all, only in a different way." Hope this brings some comfort to someone. Sincerely, Angelina11, California

My name is Cassy and I am a addict.I have been able to remain clean & in recovery for 21 months and have come to terms and understand that I will always suffer from the disease of addiction... As an addict I have a disease that wants to kill and destroy me- This disease will NEVER go away~ But in time with God's help and a positive support group it is possible to refrain from using and to become the person that God has always intended us to be.
Heavenly Father please hear all of the prayers before you. Please bless all those whom suffer from the disease of addiction and the families & loved ones of us. Please lift the obsession to use fro those in active addiction and guide us in the direction you have planned for us. Give us a sense of peace and help us to see that there are options. God please bless the families and friends of Tommy and all of the addicts that are listed in this prayer group that have passed on. Please bless my cousin Jimmy D. Argetsinger who passed away 4-27-05 as the result of a drug overdose. Help us to always remember where it is we came from. In your name I pray....

As the holidays approach and getting close to the anniversary of Tommy's passing, may God give you additional comfort with your loss. Having lost an entire family over the addiction of my son and his wife, my heart is aching as I have not seen my grandchildren in 6 months. This was the first Halloween since their existence on earth that I was not able to be with them. Those that are affected with the disease of addiction in a family know all too well the devastating results that can occur. I pray that the family is comforted by the words of those that have prayer for them as I am right now.....

Dear Lord, I thank you for sending me to Tom's page. I want to ask that everyone please pray for my boyfriend who is addicted to crystal-meth. I see him slowly dying, his soul replaced by the need for this drug. I pray that God breaks the chains that this drug has on him and millions of other people.

JaimeR Don't give up!!!! My boyfriend (now husband) was addicted to crystal-meth for approx. 15 years. I was with him for 2 years before I found out. I tried to give up on him and I just couldn't, the Lord was guiding me in how to help him. He had NEVER had anyone stand by him or believe in him. I did that for him through prayer, family and my church family. He is now clean and sober and will celebrate his 2 year birthday on Dec 19, 2005. God does break the chains of addiction, just believe! I will continue to pray for both of you. P.S. we now have 2 beautiful boys and are raising my 2 children from my first marriage! Father, God, I just ask for your presence in the relationship between JaimeR and her boyfriend. Please provide her with the patience and strength to continue to trust in you and your love for her and her boyfriend. Lord I ask that you break the chain of addiction that is holding her boyfriend and let them both begin to heal! Amen

Heavenly father,
I pray for Tommy's family to live peacefully as he is safe with you. I pray to you Lord father jesus, that you grant us the authority to save those affected by the temptation of satan in form of addictions. I pray that you give all the boys and girls addicted to drugs or smoking or drinking, the understanding to know your healing power from satan's attempts to conquer their desires. I pray to you father in your name jesus christ, to give them courage and strong will to leave the addiction and come out strong in your glory.

Our precioud Lord and Savior I ask that you take Toms soul and wrap it in your loving arms and give him peace Lord. Dear Lord you know depression and addiction is a sickness, give his family and friends comfort in knowing that you are in charge. You knew him before he was born. You know Father that I hold all these people close to my heart because I have suffered from these terrible things myself. I rebuke them in the name of Jesus Christ our risen savior. Satan you have no control over any child of God, you are under our feet in the name of the Lord. Thank you Jesus for dying on the Cross for our sins. Thank you Lord for answering our prayers. Dear God; Please hold Tommy close and let him know his family is at a great loss. Hold him close to your heart. I too have a son, who has been in and out of jail of violation of probation for drugs. He was doing good and today stole money from my pocketbook to go out and get high. I know the feeling of wondering when, when does it all end. We as a family always hope that they are going to be alright. So many times I blame myself, I try not to but it is almost impossible. May Tommy rest in peace and may his family find some comfort. Hello everyone, welcome to the new ones, to some of you I am new, but it has just been quite a while since I last posted. still clean by God's grace, it has been one year and almost two months now. I have given my life completely to God. where He leads, I will follow.

Dear Heavenyly Father,
I lift up all the wonderful people one here who have came to have prayer. give them all the strength to go on in your presence. Give them the knowledge and the strength the rebuke the devil whenever he tries to drag them down, give them the confidence that they are Your children and can defeat the devil just as your Son Jesus did. We have Victory over sin, through Christ blood on the cross, Help us all to grasp hold of your hand and promises in your most Holy name. Amen

JADE1319: I just want to lift up your son in prayer. I pray that the spirit of addiction will be broken forever off of him in the might Name of Jesus. Amen. I know what it's like to have a loved one steal from you so they can get high. Every night I have to hide my purse from my brother because I never know when Satan is going to tempt him to steal from me to go and get high. Don't blame yourself. That is another one of Satan's tricks--to get people to feel guilty. If you are born again, you are FREE from condemnation. I'm not saying that you had a perfect past or to even forget the past--just don't dwell on the mistakes that were made. Everyone makes mistakes--saved or not. But, if you are saved, your sins are forgiven. Jesus covered it all by His blood. You don't have to blame yourself or feel you have failed as a parent. My mother raised both me and my brother in the same household. I've never been addicted to drugs. Sometimes Satan can tempt some people easier than others. May you and your family be blessed in ALL areas of your lives. May NO weapon formed against you prosper. Have a wonderful Christmas. Keep your mind on Jesus and He will keep you in perfect peace.

I hope I'm in the right place for this. My daughter is 24 and addicted to hydrocodone. She and her 5 year old daughter lives with us and she (the daughter) is destroying our marriage and our lives. I need all the help I can get. Thanks.

Please pray for my husband to be delivered from prescription pain pills. He has had numerous surgeries and has been addicted for many years.

I forgot to ask that my husband also be delivered from cigarettes.

Please pray for me that I may have the strength to face my addiction, and no longer try to hide from it. That I will see the guidance that the Divine is sending me and be open to the healing.

Now that you have made it known, the devil is going to come at you with EVERYTHING that he's got. So be warned. Just keep you mind focused on God, and He will give you perfect peace. Cast all of your cares upon Him. He is your Deliverer. He will not put more on you than you can bear. You can do ALL things (not some, but all) through Christ who strengthens you. May NO weapon formed against you prosper. May you prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers.
