DEAR LORD, TODAY ON THANKSGIVING I WOULD LIKE TO VOICE MY THANKS FOR GIVING US THE TIME WE HAD WITH A WONDERFUL GUY I KNOW AS TOM, OR TOMMY, AND I HOPE THAT IN TIME HE'S SEEN AND FELT IN EVERY MINUTE AND THING THAT WE DO. AND TODAY BEING THANKSGIVING I'M SURE YOU'LL EXCUSE HIM FROM YOUR DINNER TABLE TO ALL OF OUR'S SO THAT WE CAN ALL EAT, DRINK, GET STUFFED, AND BE MERRY TOGETHER. AGAIN THANK YOU LORD FOR YOUR GIFTS, ESPECIALLY TOMMY, AND PLEASE KEEP US SAFE ON THIS SPECIAL DAY. AMEN.

Dear Father, I am truly blessed in finding this site. Bless Tommy's family for starting this prayer circle in his name. Tommy is now free from the pain of addiction. He is now where no one can hurt him. I to am overcoming an addiction and know what tommy went through and what his family went through. Bless my family father for being strong and loving as Tommy's family. I pray for all others who are dealing with the demon of addiction. GOD BLESS US ALL. AMEN.

I pray for all those suffering addiction, including myself. I pray for my friend, who I met just a short while ago, yet in four wonderful days, I found a friend, someone I could talk to and be myself, laugh, admit to my weaknesses and find a love that touched my very soul. For him, I submit this prayer and ask God to make him strong to overcome his addiction and realize his strength and power in sobriety. I pray that he never wants to go back from whence he came in his crack addiction and that he finds the necessary inner strength to persevere all addictives. If I never see him again in an intimate setting, I pray we stil give each other support and the God-kind of love in AA. I care deeply for this young man and I pray that God grants him serenity and peace to be a survivor. This prayer I say for Reggie because he is an awesome, intelligent young man who, if given the chance, will surpass even his own expectations. My love and gratitude in having come to know him will always remain in my heart and soul. Amen.

Dear Lord:

Let me first thank you for all that you do for my family and me. For all the many blessings you bestow on us daily that we fail to even acknowledge or realize.

I pray Lord that you will help all those that suffer from any type of chemical dependency and those that love them and are hurt by what they do. I pray that you can help them to come to terms with their addiction, that they may first realize and acknowledge that they truly do have a problem, and understand that there is nothing that you cannot help them to overcome. I especially pray for those that are close to me that would rather get high that do anything else. Help them Lord to break the chains that bond them to this addiction. I also pray for those that have lost love ones, or lost everything they have worked so hard for because of a chemical dependency.

Thank you Heavenly Father for all that you do. I pray this and all things in the name of your son Jesus Christ.

Dear Lord, I want to add my prayers to all of Tommy's friends and family, even tho I never knew him. You know how hard I've been praying for my friend who has started drinking again after 3 yrs. of sobriety.I would like to ak everyone who reads this to please pray to you to heal him and give him peace about his life and future. You know how scared and confused and unable to help himself he is after a lifetime of addiction. Please Lord, be with him even now and let him know everything is going to be alright."Whatsoever you ask in my name, will I do" I'm relying on this promise. I ask this in Jesus' holy name.Amen.

I too feel blessed and led to find my way onto this website and prayer circle.
This is my first visit, God is so awesome it just takes my breath away!!
My prayers are with all families and friends on this prayer circle, I come in agreement with all of their prayer needs. I suffer from an addition to cigarettes and have been praying for Our Lord to give me the will & desire to give them up for good...Painfully,I too have a 19 year old son, Josh who is addicted to drugs and alcohol. I love him so much and its breaking my heart and the rest of his family. Satan keeps pulling him farther down with all of his lies. And I pray too for my sister, Kandy who is suffering from the same afflictions and for her daughter Gabriel Joann. Heavenly Father I ask that you would come against this vile and destructive disease of addiction and forever break the bondage it holds over all its victims and their families. In Jesus' Mighty Name, Amen.
Lastly, I am eternally grateful for all of the love, encouragement, and prayers that I have witnessed here on this site. Thank you and God Bless you all!

Dear Lord, Russell is so young. What can I do to help him and his mother. He is so addicted to alochol. He has a wife that has left him and taken their young baby with her. Please, Dear God, watch over Russell today. Show him the way. Help him kick this awful habit. In Christ name amen

i'am praying to you able my addiction to pleasing the flesh. i ask you at this moment to cleanse from inside to out side. change me teach me your way. show me how to close my eyes ears when i come across something that is not holy. i also would like to pray for my boyfriend addiction on wanting not to do the right thing. i ask you lord at this time please god make him unto your holy son. help him to live his evil day behind. cleanse his flesh, make him appreciate the life that he have now and make the best out of. God i love him and i want to offer him to you and our relationship. please god help up to stand for once in our life for what is good. help both of to leave fornication alone before it perish both of us i know having sex before is wrong, but i did it anyway i would like to ask you forgiveness for mysely and him. to us your and banned sex until the day that we our married. please help my other friends with their addiction also.

I pray that God forgives me for all my sins. Iam suppose to be a man of God, but I keep slipping backward into this additon that I have. Iam trying to do the best I can, but my fleash is week, I pray to God that he gives me srtench to keep his word and that he gets me out of this sitution that Iam in. I need prayer to help me. The holiday season is here. Everyone should be rejoicing the birth of Jesus. Who was born to be our savior. Many people including all of Tommy's family & loved ones will be sad that he is not here with us to rejoice. I pray that he can visit his loves ones. I also pray that his wings will be the wind that direct families & addicts in the right direction giving them strenght & courage to do what seems to be the impossible. Let us overcome our fears and have faith in your love for us. In Jesus name we pray Amen

Everytime I dose my eyes I see your smilling face, Dreaming and remembering your loving style of grace. There was no pre - warning it's hard to understand why, God took you from this earth without a final good bye, God called on you that day. He saw you needed rest, He picked the perfect person. I give praise & thanks to you for my daughter who created this prayer circle. This site for families to say prayers & give hope to all people who seem overwhelmed with addiction. To give comfort to the people who need it. Whether it be by the lost of a loved one or how to deal with the addiction problem. Especially when she was in so much pain & sorrow at the lost of her cousin Tommy from a heroin overdose. I hope that Renee's efforts are appreciated & recognized by all families missing a love one during the holiday season. Let this site be a site of healing. ...I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "move from here to there," and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17:20

I would like to take some time to thank everyone who has left a prayer on this circle for Tommy and our whole family.
I know how hard it is to decide what to write. I never know what to say, and I am always afraid things I say will be misinterpreted.
As I am sure you all know it’s not only the first holidays without Tommy approaching, the one year anniversary of his passing is approaching. With each of us remembering the last times we may have seen him or last conversations that we’ve had, and then realizing that it is now going on a year we had that with Tommy, times are really hard for ALL OF US.
I know that every time I come to this circle and see all the wonderful thoughts and memories that everyone has of my brother I am overwhelmed with joy.
It’s great to see how all of us share something’s in common like a strong love and bond for the same person.
I know that when Tommy was here there were times when he was unsure of how much he was loved by his friends and family (as all of us do at one time or another) I feel as though NOW he knows.
My only wish is not that I am known as the one who loved him the most; the one who spent the most time with him; the person who made the most attempts to help him, or the one who misses him the most now that he is gone, my only wish is that Tommy were here with us ALL now and we could see the joy on his face when he realized as clearly as we can how we truly do love him.
I know that my family feels much joy and love as all of us in our own time and our own ways remember shared times with Tommy.
As everyone here has said it in this circle he was a great man.
I don’t know about anyone else but this circle has become a way to help me with my healing process because it allows me to share in everyone’s thoughts and memories of Tommy, not just my own.
So thank you all for sharing your love.
I pray that my family would come together and help each other with getting through these rough times, or just not do anything at all, so not to add on and make things harder than they already are.
We all need each other now more than ever, all of us have shared different parts of Tommy’s life with him and maybe if we could all get it together we could get some answers as to why or how this could happen to such a wonderful person.
And even though these answers will not be able to bring him back, I am sure it will help those he left behind heal.

Dear God, please hear my prayers. I pray for the family of Tommy that they may find peace in their hearts. Also, please hear my prayers. I pray that you guide and protect my son who has entered into the world of substances. Keep him clean and guide him towards goodness and help steer him away from evil. And help me to make the right choices and keep me strong.

Dear Lord,

Here our prayers. And heal me from my addiction. Help me to help myself. I love you and know you are there with me always holding my hand. Please make me aware of your touch when my addiction tries to pull me down. Help me to hold on tight to your loving hand of hope and success! I love you Lord!!!

Oh, sweet, Blessed Mother Nature, take Tommy into your bowels and make him one again with the unifying force that is everything. His experiences become our experiences, his problems become our problem. Guide us to healing and understanding.

Also, Blessed Mother, your meek child asks you to exhert a special circumstance intervention on all makers of "Bad Heroin." May they fall on the rusty, diseased needles they supply to their "Johns." Let them feel the pain they have inflicted on all. Let them know the heartache they have caused. Take them into your bowels and process them into all that is the one.

Amen.
