For those with chronic diseases and illnesses
Chronic Diseases Prayer Circle

This circle is for all who suffer with chronic diseases and disorders and in need of prayer and support from others.

There are many who are afflicted with chronic diseases such as lupus, MS, fibromylagia, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome and others, or may have children or other family members and friends who suffer with these conditions. The prayer circle can be here for the many ups and downs that come with these illnesses, as well as the tests that most have to go through when having a flare or time of activity in their symptoms. This can be a place to come for prayers when support is needed and also to give thanks and praise to God for remissions and times that we feel well.

~DIXIEDARLING~In response to what you wrote on 1/12/06: Father God, I come to You now in the precious Name of Jesus, asking for Your powerful, loving and healing touch to come upon Missy. May she be whole and complete in You. May you heal her of all that Satan is attacking her body with, so that she can give You all of the glory by giving her awesome testimony. Thank You for being her Healer and so much more. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen. HERE IS SOMETHING THAT MAY NOT ONLY BE OF HELP TO YOU, BUT TO ALL WHO IS AT THIS PRAYER CIRCLE:

Prayer for the Chronically Ill

O Lord, through the passion of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I beseech Thee to watch over and guide all those who suffer from chronic illness. Grant to us the courage to face our situations so that others may see Your perpetual light shining through us, as a beacon of strength that overcomes setbacks, and reaffirms Your Precious Love for ALL the sheep among Your flock. We are all Your children in spite of our physical situation, and Your Loving Son shepherds those of us who believe. Grant us the spiritual and mental strength to endure so that we may live in Your Divine Shadow. In the name of Jesus Christ, King of Kings, please hear and bless this prayer O Heavenly Father. Amen

Prayer for a Sick Person

O Father of mercies and God of all comfort, our only help in time of need: We humbly beseech thee to behold, visit, and relieve thy sick servant ______ for whom our prayers are desired. Look upon him with the eyes of thy mercy; comfort him with a sense of thy goodness; preserve him from the temptations of the enemy; and give him patience under his affliction. In thy good time, restore him to health, and enable him to lead the residue of his life in thy fear, and to thy glory; and grant that he may dwell with thee in life everlasting; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

My Aunt has had cancer 8 times, Limpforma, It has now taken a toll on her body. With all the treatments she's had. They are calling in Hospice to help care for her. I know she's dieing and sure will go with God, she's the strongest person I know. She has also been more like a mother to me then her twin sister has, my real mom. I just don't want her to be in deep pain, or suffer. Please pray for her. Thanks! alos I will pray daily for all of you taht are sick. All I can say depend on God, family and the power of Prayer. We don't alway get what we want, so thank God for haveing the time to Love, Live and Believe in HIM. Your in my Prayers

~Geema~ In response to what you wrote on 01/15/06. I will certainly pray for your Aunt. I know how difficult it is to see a loved one deal with cancer. My husband of 26 years is also a cancer patient. He has been diagnosed with prostate to bone cancer. We have a beautiful network of people who pray for him daily. He has had very little pain and is blood levels are increasingly better and better. There is power in prayer.

Father, in the precious Name of Jesus, I pray for Geema and her Aunt who is suffering with cancer. I agree with Geema that her Aunt will not be in pain and her remaining days will bring peace and joy to her. I ask that she make a full recovery if it be Thy will. If not I thank You that she is a strong woman who is going to be with You for eternity. Your Word Lord says that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I ask that the mercy of the Lord be upon Geema's Aunt to comfort her and and strengthen her body until You choose to take her to Heaven. We know that only You know the number of our days and we trust you completely. May You hold Geema's Aunt securely in Your arms and show her your love for her. We thank You in advance for hearing and answering our prayer. In Jesus name, Amen.

Geema, please keep me updated on your Aunt. She will continue to be in my prayers.

Love and Blessings Always.

Yes Geema - she will be also added to my prayers along with my sister Philomena, and with every breathe that i take while excercising in the early mornings. I wish all of you good people could make a prayer, or the regular prays that u know - to give it to the people who suffer in their life- and all this could be achieved if while we r in a public/ private transport/ while idling- or going to our offices- or while excercising- just give all the prayers a multifold and tell out LORD not one time lord- but seventy times seven i offer to all who need my little prayer- Sure LORD will give his ear to u - thanks
with the love from God

Hi everyone,

This is the first time I have asked for prayer.

I have fibromialgia and I suffer almost constant pain-I do excercise that I am told helps, but the pain seems to be always there.

Where I live it rains a lot so that does
not help very much.

Do anyone have any ways to handle this
pain without pain pills you eventially
build up a tolerence and then they
do not work.

Please pray for my friend Jerry he is having surgery on his neck soon.

God Bless you all.

~JAZYGAL~In response to what you wrote on 1/20/06: Hi, and welcome to our prayer circle! Unfortunately, I don't know anything about how to manage pain from fibromialgia. If the doctors can't help you, maybe you can do some research on the internet or at the library.
Father God, I come to You now in the precious Name of Jesus, asking for Your powerful, loving and healing touch to come upon Your child. Free her from the pain that she's in. Jesus died on the Cross and bore all sickness and disease, so that she wouldn't have to. She does not have to tolerate the pain she's in. Fibromialgia is just a "name", but Jesus' Name is above all names. Therefore, Fibromialgia must bow and flee at the mighty Name of Jesus. Satan, I command you to take your hands off of her RIGHT NOW by the authority of Jesus' Name. I bind and rebuke all attacks towards her. And I loose healing into her life in Jesus' Name. May NO weapon formed against you prosper. May you be blessed in ALL areas of your life (especially in your health right now). Go ahead and give God all of the glory, honor and praise right now, before your healing is made evident. The victory has already been won. Your body is healed, it just doesn't know it yet. May God bless you and keep you safe in His loving arms.

~TWIGGY029~
I am also excited about the discussion group for chronic pain sufferers. Thanks for the info about your heart repair. As always you are in my thoughts and prayers. Good to hear from you again.

Father, in the precious Name of Jesus, I come before Your throne of grace on behalf of Jari. I ask that her upcoming heart repair be a total success. Please guide the hands of the surgeons and give them Your direction. I ask You that Jari's recovery time be quick and free of complications. May her health and strength be miraculas as a result of this proceedure that You have provided for her. I thank You Father that Jari will have a strong heart. May her heart beat with the rhythm of life. May her blood flow to every cell of her body, restoring life and health abundantly. May her heartbeat be normal and flood her body with life and cleanse her of disease and pain. I pray that every cell that does not promote life and health in her body be cut off from it's life source. May her immune and nervous systems work in perfect order in accordance to your Word Lord. Jari is redeemed from the curse of the law.
The spirit and life of God's Word flows through her, freeing her from every disease and attack of Satan. I speak to Jari's body in the Name of Jesus and declare that it grows stronger every day. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in her and quickens her mortal body. Lord, I thank You for guarding Jari's life and health and for hearing my prayer and answering it in the Name of Jesus.

"You have forgiven all my iniquities; You have healed all my diseases; You have redeemed my life from destruction; You have satisfied my mouth with good things so that my youth is renewed as the eagle's. (Psalm 103:2-5.)

Kat!
Thank you for a wonderful and beautiful prayer. I have a total peace about the surgery now. I know that everything will be just as God has planned. I was so anxious at first I wouldn't let them do it, now I can't wait. I just know that when this is over I will be able to resume something of a more "normal" life.
You know you are in my prayers daily, and in my heart forever. You have a special place in my life, and I thank God for you. Father I praise you for the awesomness of your plan, for bringing such a mighty prayer warrior into my life, and I ask that you would bless her 7 times 70. Lord you know the struggles this family is going through, and I thank you for the testamony they have been of your mighty works. Lord let them be blessed going in and going out, Bless those who bless them. Pour your abundant love on this family, mighty God.
God Bless my friend, I love you, and will talk to you soon (if I can just remember the time diff!).

ANTONIODIAS

I was blessed in a similar way a few years back. I had moved away from home, but remained very close to my grandmother. I always called her on my birthday, (my present to me). In 1998 I called and was told that we had had a horrible family crisis. Six months later I moved with my husband an children back to my home area. My grandmother needed someone to help take care of her. She had early stage dementia. I helped take care of her for almost a year. My husband and I were forced to move away to protec our daughter, so we had to make other arrangements for grandma. I had been praying because I knew that I would not be able to handle her death. We were best friends.
I got a phone call 10 days after we moved out of state that my grandmother had passed on to be with God. Having just spent everything we had to move I could not go back for her funeral. As I look back, I realize that God had been preparing me for years to help grandma. She had seven children and numerous grandchildren. I was the only one who had experience working with geriatric dementia. I spent a wonderful year with my grandmother, time I wouldn't trade for anything. Then when the time was coming close, God moved me away. I didn't have to deal with the huge family fight afterwards, and I had a wonderful memory of my grandmother. We still got to say goodbye, and my last memory of her is a good one.
I htank God for His foresight. He always makes sure we are strong enough to handle what is happening, and if we are not, He moves us to a safe place.
Thank you for sharing your story with us Antoniodias. You have reminded me of a wonderful memory.
Father, I ask you to bless antoniodias, for his willingness to open up and share such a personal memory. Thank you Father for keeping us safe, and for the glorious plans you have for us. May each and every person who reads his story be as blessed by it as I was Father, and may they pass the blessing along.
I ask these things in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Be Blessed my friend.

Real thanks for brigning these tears to a MAN of 47. Still young at heart though with a beautiful wife though 10 yrs younger to me and 4 lovely kids- really does not know when the world will end. You are in my prayers twiggy and all those who had patience to read twiggy's prayer. Really to tell you the truth my sister (spinster) Philomena who will be undergoing an operation t-morrow morning called Perma catheherisaton, which will be helpful for her dialysis was not at all aggreable to undergo such operation, but i felt that was best for her, since even though after 15 dialysis it shows 4.5 creatinine, i am worried about her health and the ongoing expenses for years to come- i am now financially broke with just income not even to cover her daily expenses. I leave it to the lord now, n yes with wonderful people lie you in prayers i wander in my father's kingdom seeking warmth and happiness of all you good nice friends who are here in unison to sing to the LORD- Fresh and green are his pastures, and here i am still still seeking-
thanks twiggy - u r in my prayers

Antoniodias,

I have been praying for your sister Philomena and for you and the rest of your family. I also have diabetes and know some of what she has been through. I've been diabetic for 36 years (since I was 8). It is a very difficult disease to live with, both for the patient and the family. I admire the love and concern you have for your sister. God will honor your efforts to care for her. Your sister has my heartfelt prayers for her surgery tomorrow.

Father, I ask in the name of Jesus, that you watch over Philomena as she undergoes surgery. Be with her surgeons and please give them divine wisdom as they do this most important proceedure. Let Philomena's surgery be a success and I ask that her recovry time be quick. I also ask that she have no complications or infections and that her body heal beautifully. May her blood bring cleansing and health to every cell in her body and may her heart beat with the rhythm of life. May this prayer be answered to the glory of the Almighty. Amen.

Blessings,

Frankly speaking dear All!!!!!!
She requires true love from a MAN. and that is why she possibly never allowed my mother and myself to take away her UTERUS (WOMB) when she had Fibrosis. But as God had wished that too i had to operate since she was losing a lot of blood last 2005. Now i know she cannot bear any kids, but all the same who knows - a kind gentleman may come her way - and make it a reality- i know i am asking tooooooooooooo much impossible - but i keep my hand crossed- love u friends in th ename of the LORD-

You can never ask too much of God! He is more than enough for us. He will truly bless you, "for as you have done unto the least of these, you have done unto me."
God sees your heart antonio and He will never let you down. His word is true from beginning to end.
Be blessed my brother,
