Praise be to God! My prayers have been answered! If you are suffering from Chronic Pain, PLEASE read on!

My mother suffered from a near fatal accident in November 2004. She has since come through 2 brain surgeries, a spinal surgery, a coma, a broken clavicle, a blood clot, pneumonia, and several urinary tract infections. In March, she was in a nursing home continuing her recovery when she fell and fractured her hip. Because of this fracture, they discontinued therapy on her leg. Her muscles atrophied and she was in constant pain from the combination of hip fracture and any movement to her atrophied leg. We were desperately seeking solutions for her pain, which was severe, so much so that she was up to 5 mg of Vicodin (a narcotic) every 3 hours. A friend of mine said he had something he thought could help her and I said "Bring it over!" My mother has always been into nutrition and alternative medicine, which is probably why she survived her original fall, which would have been too much for most 65 year olds to recover from. He brought me a bottle of juice from a mangosteen fruit. We tried 3 ounces of it Sunday night and INSTANTLY, her body relaxed and she was able to sleep. She has not taken ANY pain medication since then. Not only that, but she has shown no signs of withdrawal after being on narcotic pain killers for 4 months. It is the most astounding thing I have ever seen. If I wasn't watching it, I probably wouldn't believe it. I pray that the Lord will lay His Healin Hand on all those whom have sought His Holy Power. I pray that the comfort and peace will come to all whom are going thru this type of trial.

God's blessing to all who have joined this circle. Only He can truly know what those who suffer with chronic disease feel and it is through His love that the path can be endured. My sister has severe MS and I watch her anger and pray that she can find solice from her pain. I know that God is always there for her, even when she cannot know this.

Hello to you all,I just want to let you know that my prayers go out to the Lord for all of you who left these messages,and who suffer from chronic illnesses.I too suffer and I ask God for help,peace ,and healing,from my fibromyalgia,hypothyroidism,migraines,antiphospholipid antibody syndrome(which causes blood clots and made me lose 7 babies),and I may have MS too.But I also pray for my sweet son who the Lord has blessed me with-Please God,keep him from having the spinal fluid leak back and from getting meningitis again.I Thank you Lord for keeping him alive both times and for keeping him alive during the 2 craniotomies he went thru to repair the leak.Please keep his shunt working ok so his hydrocephalus stays under control.And please help me to be the best mom for him as he recovers from all of his illnesses and from being molested and from the Tourettes Syndrome.He is my miracle and I can never thank you enough for him,but I need help to be able to take care of him the way he needs. Please give me strength and help my pain go away and Matthew's too. I know you are with us good Lord.as you have always been.Thank you Lord God.And God Bless you and be with all of you on this list

This pray is for my 11 year daughter Jenny who had polarticular arthrits with chronic uveitis. May God give her the strength and wisdom to get up everyday and keeping on moving.Bless this child with all your love God. Amen

My name is Louise I am 59 yrs.old and have Emphysema and Asthma and Skin Cancer. I am scared but trusting in God to see me through.

I just found this site, and I think god works in so many wonderful ways... he has given us an opertunity to get together for prayer right here.....
I just turned 45, 3 years ago i was diagnosed with C.O.P.D which is a lung disorder. I was put on oxygen...I had fallen off gods path, and continued smoking. But this past Feb 1st. my body couldn't take the abuse... I ended up in the hospital and right then i went into respatory errest.....I was in icu for 19 days when they also noticed i had a perferrated bowl... so they operated on me for that also.... I was on a vent for 23 days in icu till the decided to do a trec soi wouldn't lose my voice from the vent tubes.....then 2 weeks later i went to a nursing home for rehab to learn to walk and use my arms again.I guess from being layed up in bed for so long, i lost all my strength and muscles....
One day while at rehab. I looked at myself and I didn't like what I seen...
Right then i broke down and prayed... God please hear me, and help me to understand you better... and guide me... Help me to get out of here and walk again even if is with the help of a walker or a wheel chair... and I promise to turn my life around for you....
I am now out of the nursing home, and gaining much strength back, slowly... But with god love and guidance i have learned to take and acceept one day at a time.... I pray for each and everyone here to feel gods power, and for the healing of the sick and that answers each of your prayers.... Please pray for me also......

I just found this site and I have alot of medical problems. I just had my thyroid removed and the Dr. also found cancer on it. I am only 44 and have been thru alot in the past 3 years and I just pray that God will help me thru whatever lies ahead and keep me strong. Also I pray for all others who are suffering and in pain. Hold tight and keep your faith in God for he is the greatest Healer of all. God bless you all.

My the lord bless all these people given such painful, dibilitating crosses to bear. My mother has a chronic nuerological disorder called RSD(Reflex sympathetic distrophy) and Nueropathy, both cause severe pain and cause her to have to be on several medications that make her quality of life hardly anything. I ask that god give her streangth and help her to more easily feel his love and power as she struggles with her day to day life. Please join in my prayer for my poor mother. She suffers so and without need. Thankyou.

Please touch me and all others like me living with chronic disorders. You are the Dr. above all drs. and I know you can heal with your almighty power. Also please don't let my cancer come back Lord if it's your will. Bless me and give me strength during this time I am struggling with depression as well as medical problems. DEar Lord, You know all my ailments - fibromyalgia,mental illness and collitis. I have had these for years and probably will have them all my life. But thank you for my new low income housing. I have had a great time cooking on a new stove today and you know that feeling pleasure in doing something can really make our aches and pains diminish. Thankyou Lord for your goodness. Amen

First let me ask you to please help all the victims of Katrina...it was so awful. Give them the strength and guidance they need to face the days and months ahead. Next please touch all the sick children Lord for they are so small and helpless. I also pray for all the lonely,old, and the needy. They need attention too Lord. Now as for me Lord, I have alot of medical problems and thyroid cancer has been added and I am trying to be strong Lord, I really am since I am only 44 but I keep getting turned down for my disability and my Medicaid and Lord I know you see my needs and I ask that you help me if it's in your will, not mine. I can only ask that your will be done and pray for some relief from the pain I have and you know all about it. In your holy name I pray,Amen.

I ask for prayer for my chronic illnes. I have rheumatoid arthritis and severe degenerative disc disease.My spine and my hands are in severe pain constantly.I am on some serious medications. They are helping with the RA,yet have side affects that are not pleasant.I have gained alot of weight and my husband has not been intimate with me for 2 years. I have become very lonely. He can be verbily abusive and in the past has pushed me down.He came home from a weekend fishing trip with his freinds and I knew he had been with another woman. My heart is broken and the stress makes me have flare ups with my arthritis. I am leaving today, flying to Washington state to see a specialist, as there is not one her in alaska that can help me. I have to fly alone and it is very hard on me. I love flying ,but it is very tiring on me. So please pray for my safety on this trip and for a renewing of my relationship with my spouse. I`m sorry to hear about your chronic. I have chronic pain, am diebetic, have neouropathy, chronic back pain, an amputed Big toe, asthsma (sp.)I have been on pain medicene for 18 years and thank God never became addicted. My Daughter was only 40 years old and she passed away almost a month ago on September 3, 2005 how do you take that pain away ? It hurts so bad I miss her terribly so do her Sons Daughter and Husband and my Husband, her Dad. God take care and Bless you all.

From the prayers I've read, I feel selfish to ask for your prayers for myself and even to ask God for healing. I have possible lupus, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and a rare lymph node disease. I am only 43. I have not lived one day without pain in 4 years. I am asking for prayers to find a better doctor for a second opinion, in order to make sure I'm being given the right meds. He also said I need knee surgery. I have been in severe deppression to the point of trying to take my own life last month. I almost made it... Spent 4 days in intensive care. I am so tired of being tired, worthless, sick. My kids are 19 and 15, both boys. Their biological Father died 2 yrs. ago, but they are very close to their Step-Dad of 13 years. However, I'm not. I don't know if it is because of my illness, or deppression but I really want a divorce. I feel he is not compassionate and emotionally abusive. I am filing for disability. Praying for my court date before the end of this year and that I will get my disability. I know there are so many people worse off than I am. So sorry for complaining. And I will pray for all of you as only you can understand where I'm coming from and the pain/depression/worthlessness that we feel. I am college educated and had a good job, and it is very hard not to have my own money or independence. Please pray for my sons as well that they will understand. They said they would rather I leave and go home to my family than be miserable here, and that hurts. I don't know how I will live without them. I have been praying and reading the bible, but I want to feel that peace, hope and happiness that I see so many Christians have. Thanks again for reading/listening. DEar Lord, Be with Kelly. I am mentally ill and have physical pain from fibromyalgia and arthritis and collitis. So I know that chronic disease is a misery maker. It takes away our love for life and makes us often times suicidal and definitely wreaks families. God is a comfort but we all need each other and should pray for one another and be there in person when we can. I thank God for my compeer person who helped me take my "wildman" cat to the vet yesterday. I have to keep his care up to date in order to keep him in HUD housing. So I was thankful to God for having Sue help me. May God send all of you a friend when you are in need. Even if our physical or mental needs may not disappear God can still work in our lives. Paula

I would like for you to pray for my friend who is a minister in the Discples of Christ church and he is facing a major battle now with what is referred to as ACL which is a form of cancer. I ask that you say a prayer not only for him but for his wife who is facing this battle with him at this time.
