At last
my love has come along

To all of us who are struggling with loneliness I pray that God will touch all of our lives and send us those special persons who will help to make life worth living and will shine a beacon of hope and joy all around.

Not only persons, but pets or companions who will bring sunshine and joy to each of us. Amen

I have found that as we are lonely we do not have to be, because we have the author and finisher of our Faith on our side. I have decided to search for and find that place of contentment in my life, for that is what God wishes for each of do to. Find contentment with our lot in life and look to Him to grant us the desires of our hearts. I hope your desires are a lot like mine in that I desire companionship that will fill the void.

for all the people who live alone, i send you all love and positive thoughts and you are all special keep smiling and keep your chin up

Please pray for me, i have a lady at office who is harrasing me to the core just becasue she is with the company for 5 years, and I am not stooping to her. she is passing on all wrong information abt me to my boss and all in office, i need this job for my parents and family i support. i am realy going mad with her doings and my boss is beleivng her :( tho he knows the truth

May she do all her work as unto the Lord. And I thank You that the truth shall prevail. I thank You for being her Source, Helper, Friend, Father and whatever else she needs. Thank You. Hello everyone, I haven't posted in a while but I can report that God is strengthening me with each new day. I am learning to be content with my present life and I have set goals that I am working toward and I can praise God my Father for all that he is working thru in my life. For each of you I pray that God will enrich your lives with many new people and opportunities to share his love with those around you. LaShonda it is good to see you still standing in the Gap for God's children.

ALPAL~Hi, it's so good to see you moving forward in spite of life's challenges. Yes, I'm still standing in the gap. And will continue to do so as long as God gives me life and strength to do so. I just wish I could do it more often. Keep your head up. God is with you every step of the way. Love ya!

I just joined this site today. Reading all of these prayers is very inspirational. Thank you all for being here.

I was "released" from my job a few months ago. I wasn't given a reason why but in hindsight see that it was the right decision for me as I am happier and more at peace than I ever was at that office.

Yet now I seem to be unable to know what direction to go in. I have sent out many resumes and get no replies. I'm currently reading some wonderful self-discovery books so I am beginning to understand that everything happens for a reason.

If I may be so bold as to ask for a prayer to be shown a sign or which direction to proceed. I am willing and open to try another career choice. I know the world is open to me, I just need to know in which direction to step in.

I read your message and I feel your pain as I feel almost the same as you. I shall pray for you. I hope that we both find someone to share our thoughts, hugs and feelings with.

I pray for all of you that are feeling lonely. The hard times we face and the thoughts that we think. My mother used to tell me do not grow old alone. I know what she meant now. It would be so nice to have a hug once in awhile and a loving glance. Please pray for me, too. I welcome all the prayers you send my way and may God bless us all.

Please add me to your prayes. I have been diagnoised with sever COPD, a goiter with multiple nodules, and small nodules in my left and right lung with a new nodule in my center lung. There is no cure for COPD a lung disease. I live alone with no family nearby. Most of my friends stopped visiting when they realized I was on oxygen and could no longer do things with them. I miss their friendship more than I miss the activities we did together. Please pray for me that God will help me to accept this disease. Breathing is becoming more and more harder---so are my chores---please pray for me and all other people who suffer from this terrible disease. Thank you, God bless you.

kat0099, I realize the agony that you are engulfed with daily, I lost my best girl friend to COPD and I know what a difficult time this is for you. Please allow me to pray for you. Father we are in one accord as we lift kat0099 up to you for your healing and I pray Father that you will grant her that peace that surpasses all understanding, and that she knows that you have not left he side at any time, for when she does not feel you, you have left your angels encamped around her and shielding her as you carry her thru each new day. KAT0099~In response to your posting on 8/24/08: Being sick is bad enough, but to go through it alone is even worse. I used to be down in my back. I was no longer able to go to places that I used to go. I was no longer able to just 'get up and go'. I had to depend on others to help me. That was very hard for me, since I was such an independent person. I know there's no known cure for COPD, but there doesn't need to be an earthly cure, just as long as there's a Godly cure. God is your HEALER! He can do the impossible. May you have faith to believe that this miracle can happen to you, and others alike.

Father God, I thank You for healing me. I thank You for not being a respecter of persons. I thank You that miracles still happen today, and I thank You that a miracle will happen for Your child. Heal her, Lord. Send true friends into her life to keep her company. Thank You. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

To all of my friends who think they are alone, you are not alone for God has placed his angels around you to sheild you from all harm and danger. I lift up mine eyes unto the hills from which cometh my help, my help comes from the Lord. Claim this prayer this promise daily for we are not alone.

I live alone and I am on Social Security and I am a victim of something called mobbing and gangstalking and I am abused by police and firemen and clerks in City Hall and the other day I was abused by someone at Social Services and I would like to know if there is someone who could go to these places with me and witness this abuse, maybe even a reporter who could wear a hidden camera and film this abuse or an attorney who could sue them for abusing me. Why is this allowed to go on? I know there are others who are abused this way. In fact, my friend had to go there that day and we went together and they abused her, too, and she was so upset she couldn't sleep all night. I am 60 and she is 64 and this abuse should not be allowed to happen. Are there others of you out there who would like to tell of any abuse you are going through? Maybe there is something we can figure out that we could do about this.

Thank you for your encouraging words. I myself is lonely and you are right when you said 'even in a crowd you felt so alone and lonely'. I prayed for everyone who is living alone and lonely that the good Lord will give us peace and serenity even in our times of loneliness. ssiren59
