DLTSAMEN~In response to what you posted on 11/21/07: If you had to spend Thanksgiving alone, I'm sorry. I do pray that you won't be alone for Christmas and New Years.

Lord, I come to You now in the precious Name of Jesus, lifting up all who are going to be alone for the upcoming holidays. I thank You for sending Godly people into their lives. I thank You that they won't be forgotten on the holidays. And should they have no one to spend the holidays with, I thank You that they will reach out to others who are alone. May they visit those who are in hospitals or nursing homes, and give them company. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

This is for the lady that lost her cat. My heart goes out for you but always remember that the Lord walks beside you. As he has infinite love for everyone, maybe someday you can find it in your heart to love and give another kitten a home. There are so many in need. May the Lord be with you in your time of need!

To all God's children who are alone, today I pray with you for strength to endure. Let me remind you that God said he would always be with you, that He would never leave you. So, in your moments of distress, despair, anguish, and loneliness remember He is with you. He said I am your fist husband, I will be your everything, do not lose sight of that. In times of concern and uncertainty call Him, reach out to Him He will come. If you have faith to believe He cares for you in the daytime, He cares evenmore so in the nighttime and in times of need. Let God's perfect love radiate around you, love yourself, nurture your memories, but donot lose sight of who loves you the most. You are never alone-believe that, God is always with you.

I needed this pryaer and will pray for others too. I feel very alone right now and have made some mistakes that I wish I could get out of my mind. I am my own worst enemy and I need to be able to move on.

Father God, I thank You that this website offers support for many who are alone. I thank You that this is a place where new friendships can be formed. I thank You that this is a place where people can grow spiritually. Lord, I thank You that Serendipity43 will be able to stop focusing on the mistakes she's made, and may she be able to turn them over to You, Lord, so that You can keep her in perfect peace. I will add all of you here to my prays tonight, I to am living in isolation and solitude due to a chronic illness and unrelenting pain, it is some how regretful how from the begining my friends and family where there sort of. But as time goes on the cards have ceased calls are not expected. The holidays are something that used to be a big deal to me I loved to see the joy on my son's face, but he's been gone for four months now. I have lost my health my career, my husband, he just did not understand, my family, it was all to much to be bothered with, friends have faded away, and now my beloved son is gone. But I know that as the evening sun fall's from the sky I will yet again pray for everyone in this world that are not as fortunate as I am, because I can still reach out to all of you in this pray circle and ask for your hope and prays that will help get me thourgh this night and live another day because I know that I am the fortunate one in the bigger scheme of things. I humble myself in thanks to all for your prayers this day.

I thank You that even though she may be alone, the spirit of loneliness will be lifted. I thank You for never leaving nor forsaking her. Wrap Your loving arms around her, Lord. May she sense Your presence like she's never sensed Your presence before. And when someone does come into her life, may her spirit of discernment be sharpened so she can know if the person is someone You sent. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

Serendipity - In response to your needs I pray that you forgive yourself as the Lord has already forgiven you. I think the hardest thing for a human being to do is forgive themselves. I know that feeling all to well. Just keep telling yourself that we are not perfect as Jesus was and accept his forgiveness. I will be praying for you so that the Lord takes that burden from you. We can't change our past but we sure can make our future a better one. Remember how many people Jesus saved that did things that were really wrong and how they changed their lives for him. I think that is what we are suppose to do. Just keep telling yourself that if Jesus forgives you, you should also.

yes loneless can be a lonely place to be,I too am experiencing that. Hard to get over a love one, a marriage, and all things taken from you. But I try to cope with each day.. some days better than others. No I was not a spritual person.. so to speak.. but you want to know something folks.. I have learend to know that my Jesus Christ.. Loves me.. he feels my hurts, and my pains.. without knowing him, and his presences I would have been lost forever.So all out there that live alone.. talk to Jesus he will listen, with him you are never alone.All my preys to all. I am wihtout any family. Tthey live close by but turned their backs on me many years ago for no specific reason, and even turned their children, for whom I had babysat for years, against me. (One as an adult showed courage and got to know me but he lives in Arkansas.) I even went thru 11 brain surgeries where they were not there in any form whatsoever.
I was virtually housebound for many years with a pain disrder so was unable to form a socal network. I have 1 friend in "real" life but not someone who is able to be there for me, or herself really, in any emotional or spiritual way. (Although a terrific friend)
I am sorry to be so long but the lonliness and aloneness is often overwhelming.
God gave me a Miracle and I am thankful every day. I try to think of this time as a holiday to remember Christ, the rest is manmade and ultimately not important but watching the TV and commercials about family, family, family is just so hurtful thru to my bones and soul.
I add you all to my prayers and ask that you can put me in yours also.

I live alone way up in the mountains of Southern Oregon. I have two sons 29,who only bothers with me for money, and my youngest son 25, who doesn't bother with me at all. I stay to myself most of the time, I live in a very small town, and know a few people from the little church here, but it is a few days before Christmas, and I am feeling so alone. I'm too depressed to go anywhere or call anyone, I try to sleep and stay unconscious as much as possible. Please God, help me know how to live in my world of emptiness without such hopelessness smothering me day by day. Please give me a glimmer of hope to grab hold of, and pull myself out of this pit of pure despair. I know that I was put on this earth for a reason...I hope it was for more than just being a mother who has run out of usefulness. What else do you have planned for my life, that I have not seen yet? Please don't let this be all. I come to you in humbleness, God. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Have you ever read the poem, " Footprints In the Sand?" I think it's called that or plain, "Footprints." I go by that poem daily and think if you read it, it might help you to get through each day. I find it very difficult at this time to explain how I feel. I know that there are many hurting and alone people in this world. I'm sorry if I have ever had a pity party for myself when all I need do is lift someone up in prayer. I pray that God will forgive me for being selfish lately. God has blessed my life so greatly and all of a sudden when my son died I thought I could not carry on if I had to be alone in this world. I know that God has a plan for me and I seek his will daily. I'm sorry, sometimes I just want to have a pity party.
I thank God that I still have good health and am not home bound and my prayers go up for those who are home bound. Heavenly Father I pray for each of your children who are alone and not sure what it is that you would have them do or become, touch their lives and heal them mentally and physically and strengthen them in your love and kindness. Psalm 68 1-6 sums up what God the Father is to each of us who are alone and feel like we have been abandoned. God our Father is always as close as a Prayer lifted up from the depts of dispair, he hears all he knows all and I pray he will send each of us that special someone to help fill the lonely hours. I pray that everyone will wait on the Lord to show us exactly what it is that he has planned for us. This diffinately includes me, I have been searching in all the wrong places for that special place for me. God Bless You All. Amen

Allchildren welcome, I have not been in the circle very long myself, but I do know loneliness and I will lift you up in Prayer that God will send his comforter to you and that your will heal.
