Prayer Circles

I pray that GOD removes the sickness from my grandmothers body and mind. I pray that he heals her and brings her back to us, so that we may enjoy her company for many years to come.

All these things I ask in HIS name, because I KNOW THROUGH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

Please pray for my Uncle Eddie who has lung cancer and brain tumors in the last stage. I pray for a peaceful passing and salvation. I also need prayer in my body. Pain in the upper chest area and I have a spot on one of my ribs. I am praying for healing.

Dear lord, I thank you and praise you that I am not in much pain today. I thankyou that I have a roof over my head and food to eat even though I am disabled. Dear Jesus please look down upon all people posting in this group and grant them some peace about their problems. That you know what is going on and that you have a plan for each persons life here on earth. Thank you for this day and give me patience in this time of darkness in Alaska that summer is coming and especially the sunshine is going to come back. Amen

I am requesting pray for my husband and daughter both have chronic conditions. My husband's condition is getting worse and he might have lost yet another job. The doctors are trying to find out what is going on with him. He has apply for VA Disability and then we will go from there. My daughter has Vasculitis and only 1/3 of her kidney functions. Her Dad past away a week ago and left her nothing but bills. The added stress is to much for her. We have placed this in Gods hands and know that he will heal and take care of our problems.

I have "many" of the "diseases" prayed for. Open your heart to God and receive healing. My prayers are with each and everyone of you. God Bless!

Please pray for my husband, Ron. He has been admitted the VA hospital to see if they can find out what is causing his blood pressure to bottom out. He was in the ER twice this past week. The doctors have some ideas but are not sure. In Gods name we pray

please pray for my cousin Deanne who is30 years old and was recently diagnosed with Lymes disease she is in pain and confusion. Please pray that she will be able to overcome this and go on with her wedding planned for June.

I live with various conditions but the most debilitating by far is Fibromyalgia. I pray for all the people in the world who live with Chronic Illnesses, may they know that there are people out there who are thinking of them and lifting them up to the God/Goddess. Brightest Blessings to you all.

I just found this site and have read some of the many prayers offered for the many who experience chronic illness singley or in combination with other chronic illnesses as well as the additional societal problems of job, bills, transportation, etc. I pray that God has heard all of these prayers offered on behalf of so many and has provided, at least, the strength to continue our lives.

While reading, I saw a light. I recently had a very bad experience with a diabetes center. I have had severe fibromyalgia for many years. Because I live alone (with three cats), it is very difficult to accomplish some of the routines of daily living. Cooking is the most major problem especially since I have just learned that I have Type II diabetes. The people at the diabetes center I was referred to appeared to be "mad at the world." They were friendly and polite but seemed to know little about fibromyalgia and cared even less about it. They could only focus on my diabetes and did not/could not recognize the lifestyle changes my fibro has required and how those will affect my diabetes management. I sent two letters expressing my concerns and talked with both my internist and rheumatologist. I am now being followed by a nurse and dietitian in a different diabetes center who are wonderful. They are knowledgeable about both conditions, supportive (including giving hugs), and fun. This has changed my outlook 180 degrees.

But back to the light. I believe the Lord showed me this morning that I have the knowledge and ability to help the people at the first center to be more receptive, flexible, happy, and helpful to those they have pledged to help.

I pray the Lord will continue to inspire me, both physically and mentally, to enlighten them so others will not have to experience what I have gone through. Who of us knows how many other patients with diabetes and fibro have gone to them for help, did not find it, and did not follow through to find someone else.

Please pray with me that their hearts and minds be opened and receptive to patients who have other chronic illnesses in addition to diabetes.

I decided to join this prayer circle because I have bladder cancer that just will not go away. After reading so many of your testimonials, I am truely humbled. I can still live a totally normal life but am inconvenienced with 3-month visits and operations to remove the tumors. I am lucky to be alive and to have the resources to keep on track. My prayers and hopes for all of you are that we can find the strength to carry on for ourselves and loved ones. I know that everything happens for a reason. I just keep getting stronger. I ask that our Creator, in whatever guise anyone believes, keeps blessing everyone. Have faith...take care, Cait

i send out prayers to everyone suffering from anything, whether it be physical, mental,emotional, or financial. i suffer from mixed connective tissue disease and fibromyalgia. right i am going bak and forth drs and none seem to know what they are doing. i am where a lot of other people have been. not only am i hurting physically,but also emotionally and definitely financially.
i ask that my family, who has supported and tried to take up the slack, be in your prayers too. i ask that you send out a special prayer for my husband, who has to take on the whole weight of our household. please pray for my two sons, who don't really understand what is really going on.
remember no matter what your beliefs, you are never in this journey alone.

i know i am not alone for there were times that i thought i could not go and i made it. that was all by the grace of God, who carried me through.

I too suffer from Lupus, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia and migraines for which I have asked God to relieve me of this burden or at least lighten it. My main prayer is for my Mom who is dying a very slow death from congestive heart failure. She was also recently found to have a large inoperable malignant mass in her abdomen which has now spread to her liver. I pray with all my heart that God will take her quickly and not let her suffer. And, I ask that anyone in this prayer group also pray for her.

I just thank God for this prayer site, I suffer from fibromyalgia and depression. Many people do not understand why I cannot work a full time job with my disabilities. I emphasize with you newjean. My father had Alzheimers but was pronounced very fit physically and there were even predictions he would live until at least 90. However his mind was gone and my mom had to pay quite a bit each month for his care. He got the flu and died rather quickly from kidney failure. God freed his spirit and freed my Mother from the cost of keeping one who could no longer communicate or eat. It is sad to say goodbye but God knew it was his time. Please pray for my fibromyalgia as it is quite bad right now with winter going on and my exercise is rare. Please pray I will get some relief and make due with what disability I get if I loose my part time job.

I wish there was some other way to address everyone. My first thought was to say "hello fellow sufferers". Unfortunately that is our situation, fortunately not who we are. So I say, "hello, friends". I too suffer from fibromyalgia, and connective soft tissue disorder, cetral nervous system damage...edema...interstitial cystitis, and as a result, secondary depression. I take numerous pills to combat the intense chronic pain 24/7, and as others have said the cold of winter has really got things flared up. I have gained weight from lack of movement because of the flare ups from the cold. The weight causes edema, and possibly pressure on my heart.
I can only pray that God has a higher purpose for all of us than what we are restricted to doing here.
I have to say thanks to God for my blessings of my wonderfully supportive family. My husband and children who constantly reassure me that I am needed and offer them wisdom and love when they need it. So I feel worthwhile with my family.
I pray that God carries each and every one of us through the hard times of our illness, physically, mentally, and spiritually when we are ready to give up. Amen.

I too have fibromyalgia and it can really, really alter one's life; the fibro-fog can be just as debilitating as the pain itself, especially when one wishes to remember a particular event or when one travels. I will remain prayerful and hopeful that those suffering from this
condition are granted more good days that painful ones. A support group is an excellent idea for those of you who are not in communication with others who have fibromyalgia; I am truly grateful for the members in my group.

I have just foind this site and hope that with the prayer circle it will help I am so thankfuk for god being in my life but i have no one to stand with me in prayer and it says wher etwo or more stand togetherthere is great strength and power.I have fibromyalgia and no onereally believes the pain i am in my family does not understand. I have great hope that thi8ng s will start to change and i pray for all of you to feel better and to have peace where ever you are at as well.

I haven't been on the computer for days, I was in too much pain but today it is somewhat milder so here I go. It is my wish that more research be done about fibromyalgia and more treatments be available. It is my unfortunate experience that those doctors who treat it mostly do not have the condition themselves and so they think I am exagerating or just want some extra attention or something. Boy is that far from the truth! May God be with us and guard us from the barbs thrown at us from those who do not fully realize what we are dealing with. I am interested in what someone said about fibro-fog. I have a very bad memory and thought it was just me. So please someone explain to me what this is so I can be enlightened. My prayers and light for all of those whom suffer from these chronic afflictions..please keep my husband and our family in your thoughts..He has lupus, digenerative disk disease and most likely is bi-polar..A tumor has now been found wrapped around his caratoid artery..Surgery is pending very soon..He suffers from migraines. I pray that he will quality of life..that our famiily will have quality of life and we will be able to enjoy him in the physical form for awhile longer ..mar

I have had suffered from depression, asthma, arthritis and fibromyalgia. But the Lord is my strength and somehow by His grace I go forward, one day at a time. The winter cold affects my pain levels immensely and I've been forced to stay inside a lot because it physically hurts to go outside in the cold. I have learned to be content inside my home and God continues to help me to cope with my disabilities. I too can no longer work outside the home as I did for many years, but God in His infinite wisdom provided me with a vision some time ago which is finally beginning to come to fruition. He has blessed me with the resources to help me "get on my feet" so to speak to be able to work from my home. In my own disabled state as well He has opened the door to me working with others who are disabled in a tutoring capacity. He has shown me that I'm not dead yet, I do still have a purpose and He has a plan for the rest of my life. It has also helped me to refocus my energies on someone other than myself. I know that God is no respector of persons so I pray that what He's done for me He'll do for those of you who may be feeling useless, helpless and alone. In God's Love, Angelkp

multiple illnesses.We must remember that God is with us, even though we sometimes don't feel His Presence, because of pain or depression. He has a purpose for every thing. Lets all give our whole being,up to Him and lay our hurts and pain and depression in His Hands. He will hold us in His Loving Arms and comfort us with His Abiding Love.
